RE: What did you get today?
The big question is Don? Prometheus or kraken?

Its also important to point out, the Prometheus is a tank system.....not a dripper, its a genesis atomiser.

An absolutely insane genesis atomiser but still it speaks volumes to me that it can even be considered usable at .2ohm.

Oh yeah.....

I was also thinking it may be better at 50:50 on the juice, slightly less viscous may wick better on the mesh or it may need #500 mesh rathar than the stock mesh wicks provided.

When mine eventually finishes its tour I'll have a play.Yahoo

RE: What did you get today?
I think lower #mesh is better for thicker juices. I seem to remember reading that 200-300 worked better with thick juices. But in practice I've almost been treating it as a dripper, I fill it till the deck is awash, I just need to wet the wicks about twice a tank.

I'd go for the Prometheus over the Kraken. I might leave the silica wicks in it and try a similarly low resistance setup. But the Prometheus is a thirsty character. I've filled it at least twice this evening. And dripped some menthol down the drip tip when the caramel was getting a little overwhelming.

But the Aqua is more convenient though I'm never going to be a fan of the Origin's lock ring. To the point where I might just solder a large washer to it.

There is a use for the button adjuster though, if I screw the hybrid pin in till the battery rattles, then it won't fire in the holster I keep it in - which came from a Gerber EOD clone multitool I got off DX a few years ago. The tool wasn't all that good, but the holster holds the Aqua/Origin nicely on my belt. I seem to have gone through about 20ml of 12mg caramel juice between the two of them in the last two days.

I presume you put silica wicks in the Aqua as I've vaped it dry more than once and it hasn't tasted of burnt cotton. Which is the sort of taste you remember.

[Image: podiac2-1.jpg]I got this yesterdayHeart

my mate set it up for me

he started with micro coils and mesh at .8 ohms

this was to harsh for my untrained lungs so he set it at 1.2 with silica

Nice!

If the natural tendencies of mankind are so bad that it is not safe to permit people to be free, how is it that the tendencies of these organizers are always good? Do not the legislators and their appointed agents also belong to the human race? Or do they believe that they themselves are made of a finer clay than the rest of mankind?

Very nice. Don't try to take the switch apart though. It's a pain to get back together....

RE: What did you get today?
That looks like it's going to need a foot-long drip tip.

RE: What did you get today?
Its f*&^/$# insane. Nice thing is the tip is twp parts so you have a delrin insulator and a stubby pmma tip that can be replaced. It will be getting a long tip fitted later as at .2ohm its an extremely hot vape and prone to spitting hot juice. Flavours good though as the chamber is tiny with quad coils in it.....
