Since you build, I would suggest an OBS Engine for a first tank. I love my Crius Plus. I have 2 of them. The only draw back is if you don't wick them right they can leak. With the Engine the only way it can leak is if you completely wick it wrong ( which is hard to do ) and turn it upside down.

For single coil builds (my newest affinity), I HIGHLY suggest the CoilArt Mage GTA. Incredible flavor - even better than most dual coil RTAs. If you decide to get one, make sure it's the GTA version.

You cannot be recommending that over the Petri RTA - are my reading skills down? Sarcastic_hand

I LOVE the Petri RTA - I use it daily. But it's not the only RTA I use. I have 4 different ones in rotation, as well as 3 different RDAs. Variety, babe, variety.

RE: What did you get today?
I just picked up a new drill. The old dewalt was very loud and annoying (not the drill so much but my wife complaining about it)
I got the Ryobi litium ion 18 volt. Not the fastest at 1600 rpm but should make building better for me.

Nice!

Actually I've been thinking of getting a high speed corded drill. The Dewalt I've had has been pretty solid but damn it is noisy.

RE: What did you get today?
Honestly, I use the el-cheapo ones from Harbor Freight and they work perfectly fine for coil building. 2800 or 2900 RPMs (I can't remember right now). Usually on sale for under $20.

RE: What did you get today?
I've been thinking about getting a slower drill, honestly. Mine doesn't have speed settings, just depends how hard you press the trigger, and it's really hard to go slow if I want to. It'd be nice to have a slower one for wrapping more complicated builds like a fused stapled helix.
