Out west in Calgary regular take out hamburger joints sell both Buffalo and Ostrich as a matter of course. As for bugs - there are some very tasty bugs. I'm not a huge fan of alligator - had a bit in New Orleans and one had lead pellets in it. Turned me right off.

I've tried a Buffalo burger once while in Alberta. It was delicious! But it's got nothing on a good Moose burger Good3

Norway majors in "delicacies" that you'll only eat once.

I remember the chocolate coated locusts.
The raw horsemeat.
Then there's lutefisk.

Then I spent a while in southern Africa in the early 80's.

Hippo is tasty. You can make nice biltong from ostriches. I'd not bother trying camel again.
