Easy to check that, I can just blob solder onto it till it's coil bound. Would do it now, but the mutts want attention since I've been in Dundee all day and the GPS went insane and routed me home over 40 miles of single track mountain roads and via Glenshee - an approximately 60 mile detour to avoid a closed road I wouldn't have gone near anyway.

At least I assume that is what it thought it was doing. Sad

Time to download the track data from it and see.

RE: What did you get today?
It was the 510 spring. Stripped some Ethernet cable I had lying around and stuffed the spring with as much of it as I could make fit. Went from 2.83 to 3.78V with the Prometheus on top. Which is as good as anything I've got (not yet tested the GG TS clone).

Cool. That spring is to me, the cause of most people's issues with the hammer clones.

For anyone with a Hammer clone that wants a proper and adjustable fix just get this for $4.35 shipped.  All problems solved!

Once your atty is attached you don't see the engravings on the 510 connector anyway.  Those are silver plated brass contacts, BTW, and both 510 pin and contact pin adjust independently.  It also comes in brass if you want a little contrast.  I own both SS and brass versions of it.  They rock!

RE: What did you get today?
I got my Flash E-Vapor from focalecig.com for review.  What an amazing atty!  Was actually very easy to setup properly as long as you have a bit of SS mesh which was, unfortunately, not included in the kit.  Amazing flavor and vapor compared to my Kayfun Lite.  Leakproof design and zero dry hits.  I can't understand how this one has been flying under most vaper's radar.  It's not perfect but damned near!

RE: What did you get today?
Got a Taifun GT steel tank that actually fits my Taifun. It really isn't a good idea removing the top cap to check if it fits this time, as all the juice promptly escaped from the air hole.

Chi You/King top cap in the basket though my Hammer one is fine now I've stuffed the spring full of copper wire, it now has pretty much the lowest voltage drop under load of all my mods.

RE: What did you get today?
And another Taifun GT this morning. 10 days from when FT packed it till it made it to me. China Post does seem to be a bit faster to the UK than the others at the moment.

Glad to hear that it arrived so quickly, Don.  My Squape which was ordered days before my other FT items that arrived over a week ago, finally hit the states and has been in NY state in customs for the last 2 or 3 days.  I hope it shows up soon.

My new camera is scheduled to arrive today via UPS as well as a cheapo WLToys R/C car I bought for my daughter and I to play with.  I'm excited about the camera.  My reviews will now step up to another level but I don't know how it will be with outdoor beam shots.  Hopefully it will do well.  If only my camera bag and memory card would show signs of delivery soon.  Good thing I bought Amazon Prime so I'd get my stuff in 2 days. Dash2

RE: What did you get today?
It did, however take weeks from ordering to posting Sad My new cellular modem arrived yesterday which is dramatically improving the internet experience at work. And has halved my bill for the same amount of data Gamer4

It's a pain the postman stalking. Especially when it's something tiny like a memory card.

Actually you already do good pictures in your reviews I-m_so_happy

RE: What did you get today?
That's awesome about the internet bill being halved.  I need to find a solution for our cell phones at home.  We pay way too much.  On the bright side, just checked tracking and the memory card and bag are on track to show up today afterall.  Looks like FedEx and SingPost aren't so different after all.  Nothing...nothing...nothing...BOOM!  Your stuff is here!
