TW, I'm sure it was one of those exotic hairless imports and not a FL DNA cat! Smile

No it was on my dog. Should have clarified.

Even if it was either of our cats we would have paid whatever needed to save them.

That's really sweet, Umi. I've always been more of a dog person, but my father in law's cat died last year and it was pretty rough on him, if you have a pet long enough it becomes part of the family so I get it. Unfortunately I've never had a pet besides a few fish, but my wife's family has 4 dogs and several more that visit often (ones that belong to her uncles, grandparents, etc).

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a robot. I have some dogs that have been around a long time and I'm quite attached to, but I doubt I'll shake 5k on them. They wouldn't do it for me.

RE: What did you get today?
TW, I've had pets I've loved but I would not pay excessively to save them either. My husband and I discussed this prior to getting any pets. We pay for checkups, shots, etc. I watched my mother pay for arthritis meds for a Chihuahua for years, and it was in so much pain still, I couldn't be around it. Which is why when our loved cat of 9 years teeth went bad we put her to sleep once none of the treatments worked. We were not going to pay thousands for the cat to get dental work done.

RE: What did you get today?
As I said she was still very young it isn't like she was old. It is another thing if she was old when this happened but she wasn't. Also there were basically rocks in her bladder. Like garden looking rocks. Most of the cost was because it was an emergency vet and she had to stay for almost two weeks because of double catheters and infection. Our regular vet wouldn't have been able to save and monitor her since they didn't have overnight care.

God forbid anything happens to any of our 3 dogs, but we got pet insurance it may cost us £47 a month but worth every penny just in case..

RE: What did you get today?
I went to one of the vape stores I frequent to bs,talk about nic, and coils. He ended up giving me a bunch of coils for me to try and get some ideas from, and some to just have. Bs'd a bit longer and talked about my mixing adventure, I let him try some of my castle longish juice. He wanted to buy some from me right there and said I needed to start selling it. I told him I'll just give him some as soon as I make a new batch. Now I don't think he was bs'ing me but who knows. Either way it feels good to get positive feedback.
