This envelope.

Which contained this little bit of bubble wrap.

Which, when opened contained this genuine GG button.

Pity it didn't fit the firing pin on my clone as the threads are different. I'd probably have to drop around 20 euros on a complete GG switch mechanism to use the nicer button. Sad

My only mail today Sad

But at least there weren't any bills Smile

RE: What did you get today?
Found I could get the firing pin separately from a complete switch. Hopefully it'll fit in the existing clone switch. Not too horrible a price, 6 euros half of which is postage. So even if it doesn't work, I'm not out too much - 14 Euros and pennies.

Got my Storm A RDA today! going to do a rough quick build while I am cooking dinner in a few to see how it works. Seems like it has a real airy draw on dual coil with all three holes open, which is great for me

RE: What did you get today?
Thing is built good, but I am having problems getting the coils/wicks set up in it.

Just built like my 4th or 5th setup on it... think this one may be good.

The atty itself if built like a tank, great airflow options, pretty sure its silver plated contact.

Its just tasting like ass. Maybe its from the soot from the Bic lighter I was using to heat and squeeze with. thought I washed it all off, but may not have. Thought it was machine oil, but I gave it a bath in really hot soapy water and a very good rinse under very hot water...

Maybe tomorrow I will try cotton in it. But, either my cotton is not good for attys, or I just dont like cotton

I am still new with rebuildables, so I am sure it is operator error somewhere along the lines.

My phones dead ATM, but once its charged a bit I will post a pic of it on the Roller

RE: What did you get today?
Hey, Pulsar, before you soaked it in hot soapy water did you remove all the deck/post screws and strip it down completely then soak all the disassembled parts?  I'm guessing you did but not everyone does and the oils that hide in those threads can pop out on you when the coil and screws get hot.  I'm also assuming that you do a real good preburn of the coils after they are set up to burn off any oils and impurities from the coil?  Aside from those two things I can't imagine what could possibly be causing the bad taste. Sad  Keep us updated on how you are getting along.

RE: What did you get today?
I did strip it all, except the center post... Probably some oil hiding in there. I heated the coils with a bic lighter to hear and pinch to tighten them up, ran it under hit water and wiped it all down, then pre burned the coils probably a dozen times before wicking them.

The taste is all but gone now. Just a little hint of ass. I will probably twist up some 32g kanthal tonight and do a dual coil with that, see how it works out
