RE: What did you get today?
TW what shipping method did you use? I placed my orders separately so I could hopefully use a faster shipping but it only let me use SingPost. I could see all the other options, but it wouldn't let me select them for one reason or another. I think part of it is because I'm in an apartment and some shipping methods won't deliver to apartments.

RE: What did you get today?
I just used the default one, assuming that regardless of the method I would age considerably before I got them. I consider this an anomaly and not the norm, by the way. Someone must have been in a good mood that day.

Probably because the mod contains a lipo - lots of carriers don't want to know about that.

RE: What did you get today?
Yeah that's what I assumed too Don, but I bought the mod in a separate order from the other stuff. One order was the mod, battery wraps and one RDA. The other order contained everything else. And when I looked at the shipping options, some of them said "this option can't ship to your address" and some said "this option can't ship batteries" but it didn't say anything about not shipping batteries on the second order.

Mike, the voltmeters are pretty damn big, that's for sure. The width is probably about the same as an RDA, so about 20-25mm wide and maybe 35-40mm long. Pretty deep too, about 20mm or so. It's gonna be a nice giant display to tell me how much charge is left in my LiPo. I'm not planning on it being a small box though, so I'm not worried about the size of the display Tongue

I do need to figure out how to wire the damn things though. It came with no instructions, just a couple plugs which each have a yellow wire, red wire and black wire sticking out. Time for Google I suppose.

RE: What did you get today?
To the UK, China Post packet which is reasonably quick will not take any round objects. In case someone somewhere thinks they are batteries.

RE: What did you get today?
Huh, that's interesting. So they won't even take other round things, just to avoid confusion? What if they packaged a round item in a square box, shrink wrapped so nobody would open it?

RE: What did you get today?
I don't get it either. Presumably someone somewhere thought that made sense....

(Looking for a head scratching smiley)

It may be something to do with the Universal Postal Union.

RE: What did you get today?
It goes back to the famous 1887 feud between the Round Parcel Postal Carrier's union and the Square Parcel Postal Carrier's union. Apparently it got pretty heated and there's still quite a bit of bad blood between them.
