I am sure that my build is less than ideal, using the included wick and wire... but if its this good with the sub par components, than I cant wait to see after I get better at building, and get some quality parts for the build

If I overfill the Taifun it is very, very annoying. It leaks, floods and gurgles.

That's 3 lengths of 2 or 2.5mm Chinese silica and around 5 wraps of 0.2mm Kanthal.

I just wound a .25 micro coil and rammed cotton in there........ filled by pouring into the top cap to a smidge below the chimney o ring then screwed the base onto the inverted tank.

Without sounding smug......its working great.

Came out at 1.8ohm but still fine on a mech, kinder to the cells too lol

Mine did too. Resist the temptation to fiddle and make sure the Taifun logo is visible on the inner tank. Otherwise floods and leaks happen. It's way too low in my pics.

I found on mine, the wall seems to click into place, as you say, as long as both the logo and serial number is visible your good. I pulled the air tube too, I got a narrow bore which is I believe 1.2mm, the one fitted is 1.8 I think. I just run it without as I like a very unrestricted draw
