While I will someday look back on this and laugh, the way Bill Gates did when he declared that there would never be a need for more than 128k of RAM in a PC, I say in this moment that the iPV5 is the most mod I will ever need. I love the ramp up time, it looks nice in blue, has TC and a 200w max.

OK, maybe I'll just say pop in a caveat that this is the most mod I will ever need *until the improved TC model is finally released*. Heck, even then I may prefer the iPV then too. I remember when I thought the TC60 mini was all I needed too. Maybe I should just delete this post. Sigh.

RE: What did you get today?
When it comes to technology we are all suckers. Must get the new phone, must get the new computer and must get the new atomizer and must get get the new vaporizer. It has no end. I'm pretty darn sure there will be a better connection than a 510, that are better coil designs and that there will be proper temp control for all types of coils - including kanthal - that works more efficiently than what we now have.

I remeber when the Atlantis tank was the big breakthrough in vaping, when an Istick 30 was hot. So don't kid yourself Tin. You will be buying again soon enough.

RE: What did you get today?
You got it Paul.

We're in a revolutionary phase just now where new ideas come out all the time, better implementations come out all the time, stuff changes every week.

It reminds me of the flashlight market when LEDs appeared. Since it plateaued with the Cree XML series, there's very little reason to upgrade any farther. Even the cheap retail stuff is brighter than some of the ludicrously expensive lights made from pure unobtainium and unicorn farts of 7-8 years ago. They are "good enough"

Vaping is getting to the "good enough" point (Some could argue that this point was reached with the eGo/CE4 combination) but isn't IMO there yet.

RE: What did you get today?
I see there is a V3.0 version of the firmware for the RX200 now which among other things will let it fire down to 0.05 ohms. Mine came with this version.

I downloaded that update, mine will fire down to .1 in power mode. Are you referring to tc?

Just checked, yes it is 0.05 in TC, 0.1 in VW

RE: What did you get today?
I got the Haze today. Hmm, not sure about this one. The size is a bit smaller and the mount holes are, too, which made putting the coils I use on the 13 Heavens a lot more difficult. It works though, and vapes well. However, and this is very unfortunate- it has a small chuff cap and no other options except for a standard 510 cap fitting. So I probably won't use it for long. The blue looks good on the blue 5s, but I will probably not get used to it enough to ditch the 13 for it. I got lucky with the 13 because it's everything I like in an RDA (except for more color choices). The Haze is good but not as good.

Don't they sell colored AFC rings for the 13 Heavens? I seem to recall seeing some in a local shop.

RE: What did you get today?
A question for Don ... I just bought the Luc 2 amp charger 4 bay. I am fed up charging my 26650 on a 1/2 amp 2 bay charger from nitecore. Is it okay to charge at 2 amps if you have been charging first at 1/2 amp? P;lease say yes ... I really do not want to buy three new 26650s, lol.

Those are the Twisted Messes rings and they fit the 13th Heavens too. I have three extra colored rings ( I have both attys).

RE: What did you get today?
@PaulS - you'll be fine. As long as the 26650s have a capacity of more than around 2900mAh. I'm not wild about charging lithium cells beyond about 2/3C on a routine basis. So for a 2500mAh 26650 I'd not want to go past 1.7A. An occasional charge at 2C as long as it just stops at 4.2V without waiting for the current to drop would be fine.

You'll be fine. Just touch the cells occasionally to make sure they aren't getting uncomfortably hot. If they are, stop charging, let them cool and charge at a lower rate.
