RE: What did you get today?
Just bought a pair of red LGDBHE21865 batteries. I never seen them before. Not certain on the specs on these batteries because searching them online one site is telling me that it's 20 amp and another is saying 30 amps. Has anyone used them before? Anyone know the actual specs? Can i go as low as .3 ohms?  I was going to get the Samsung but the sales Guy was urging me to get these LGs.

Oh, I know this one!!! Those are LG HE2 cells. They're good til about 20A, and they should be just fine at .3 ohms. The site claiming 30A is talking about the pulse rating, which is just another way of saying it's an inflated number that doesn't help anyone. "Pulse rating" just means it can hit that for a brief pulse, but it's not safe to go by the pulse rating for vaping because who in the world only takes a <1s hit??? So yeah, they're 20A continuous discharge, which is the number that matters.

And I'm feeling kinda special right now since I knew the answer Smile It's just because I've talked to Don so much, and those happen to be one of the types of cells that I own.

Lol, Thanks Mike!  Yeah, I was using Bing to get more info but the results were vague and didn't actually explain much on any of the links.  Your a life saver.... meaning that now I feel more confident that these batteries won't explode on my face when using a mech tube.  4.2v with a .3 build will get me 14amps... to me, that might be pushing it.  I may want to go for a .4 build for 10amps just to be safe.

RE: What did you get today?
I would say the .3 should be fine, but of course if you're more comfortable with the .4 then that's what you should do. It probably won't make a huge difference in taste or clouds, so just do what you think is best Smile  I agagree that it's better to be safe than sorry and I usually tell people not to go below .3-.4 ohms even if the cell can handle it, simply because there's less chance of problems.
