RE: What did you get today?
Can't get the positive post out of the cooked one. Time for more torching methinks.

Two (multiple expletives deleted) missing post screws later, it's time for a break. The fogger isn't the easiest atty to build. Had a rather nice build in it, but the resistance of 0.125 ohms was way too low for my taste. Time to rebuild it with some thinner Kanthal and order a bunch of screws

RE: What did you get today?
Got one Fogger repaired and built at a rather higher resistance with rayon wicks - this is my first try with rayon as a wicking material. Working nicely with my custard.

Can't face building a second Fogger in the same day though. The new one is nice and clean and ready to go when I can summon up the enthusiasm to build it...

RE: What did you get today?
Today I picked up some extra supplies... Couldn't find rayon since all the beauty salons are closed at 10pm (by the time I was driving home from work) so I got some organic cotton, plus some drill bits so I'll have exact measurements for my coil sizes, instead of just guessing with wrapping it around a screwdriver. Micro screwdriver set, tweezers and a mini pair of scissors made my vape kit's transition to a mini tool box complete. Tongue

Also, I just want to say that I absolutely love this thread. My family doesn't know that I vape so it's fun to talk about the new toys I get without people judging me. Lol

RE: What did you get today?
Today I got a new battery charger. The old one was a piece of shit that took about 10 hours to charge, two batteries max. The new one charges up to 4, can revive most dead batteries, and has a car adapter for this traveling man.

I'm hoping to be mostly done spending money on my vape for a while. Two nice mods, three RBAs, four batteries, a nice charger, and a nice length of kanthal means all I'll need for a while is rayon and juice.

At least, that's what I'll keep telling myself... Until I see a new mod I need. Lol

RE: What did you get today?
Got a second Rose V2 clone. It came from FE and is identical to the one I got on a group buy a couple of weeks ago.. And I got some silly wire, 0.8mm (20G) and some more practical wire for building in the Rose of 0.42mm (25G). I also got some cap head screws that I hoped would fit in the Fogger and trap wires more reliably than the stock screws. Unfortunately the Fogger doesn't use M2 screws and on comparing these with the Fogger screws they must be around M1. Except the smallest common size is M1.4. Does anyone actually know the size of the screws on the Fogger 4.1?

Best to host the pics elsewhere. ImageShack, Flickr and Photobucket are free. If there isn't already something about how to post pics, I'll stick one up at the weekend. If there are files other than pictures, you'd have to ask Spasmod.
