This way I get exposed to stuff I'd probably never come across.

It's good.

Tastes do vary a lot. Mostly I'm stuck in the '76-84 era.

What the heck kind of music were you listening to in 1876? Gold Rush mega hits? Wild West showtunes?

Hey TW - In 1876 a lot of famous Classical music was around - Wagner,Grieg etc it was the time of ''taste'' and expertise where nothing was soiled by electronics and sound studios - I liked it at that time. By 1976 music was being spoiled by electronics but we still had the likes of Abba and Dr Hook - and Johnny Cash was in his prime - I liked music then as well. There are some things that us ''oldies'' experienced in music then that you young ones really missed out on - the excitement of records instead of cylinders - stereo instead of mono - the start of Rock and Roll not to mention the old New Orleans Jug Bands and the best Blues ever recorded.  You have all missed out on the best that music had to offer. If vaping had been around then life would have been a little like Heaven. So Behave.

RE: What are you listening to?
I'd say the best of the blues (IMO) was the stuff from Chicago in the 60's.

I wouldn't disagree with that.
