Want To Buy A Backup Mod Box
Well should anything go wrong with the Kanger I would be stuck with a Coolfire or ebay EGO

Im a gadget man, love the mods, the more flashing leds the better :0. I have for sometime been looking at the The SMY Touch Box 100W, color display touch screen, dont know if its just a gimmick.

Are there less reliable makes? I dont like the idea of a power pack, dont know if you can get them aprt to put new cells in.

Im interested in the technology, so VW VV Temperature control would all be great to experiment with. Know nothing long term on box mods.. I do know the Triton 2 tank is much better than the original Kanger Subox min tank.

Maybe 2, be nice to have a VV VW in the shape of the Coolfire 1, something I can slip in my pocket perhaps. And a box mod as well, think I prefer single 18650 type, but If im going up in wattage I guess its going to be bigger.

Also be nice to have coil value auto adjustment I guess. LCD display a must, puff counter ?. Very easy to make one too, but not motivated enough yet for that.

What should I get, and is it available in the UK

I think the xcube mini might be for you. Techy, cool, powerful enough.

As for a tank - I recommend the Asoppire Cleito.

Now I use the cleito and love it. I lmost bought the xcube mini ( a friend had one and I liked it) but I got a sweet deal on a vaporflask stout and I wanted the 26650 battery. If you want an all day vape the stout is it but it is not fancy at all. The xcube is just neat as hell.

RE: Want To Buy A Backup Mod Box
I'm not into dripping yet, but can see a use for testing different flavors in the future. I found out the hard way that a Triton 1 RTA wont fit a Triton 2 tank, so having to use the Subox min tank for my own coils builds.

So would like to build my own coils, already have too many dedicated coils that cost too much. But my Triton 2 tank is great, sadly even the ones that have RTA are not vertical coils

The box looks ok, not too big like the larger version, Ill check its price around the UK

The Aromamizer is awesome if you want to rebuild coils, and it's pretty easy to put vertical coils on it. I've got dual vertical fused Claptons on mine right now.
The Xcube mini does look like a nice mod. I really enjoy my Balrog, that one might be worth a look, it's not as fancy as the SMY touch but it's got a nice menu with tc and power modes, all that fun stuff.

RE: Want To Buy A Backup Mod Box
If you just want an RTA that is easy to build on get the new avocado. The balrog does seem nice. My B+M just got them. I have an aromamizer as it happens. I use the pre made nickel coils when I'm lazy - and I find it taxing to build these days. That said the 3ml aromamizer comes with the velocity deck and I've used it as well.

We are back to the same old conversations. Today there is too much choice. It is hard to really go wrong. I could name six or seven mods and four or five RTAs and three or four tanks that I would happily use. We are in the golden age of vaping.

RE: Want To Buy A Backup Mod Box
I just got a 3ml Aromamizer with the Velocity deck which makes building as easy as it gets. Forget mouth-to-lung though - even when just about shut it is too airy for that. Wide open I get smaller clouds from it at 100W than I get from the Zephyrus at 40W wide open. It is way airier than the Zephyrus. Still messing with the settings on a titanium TC build to see what works for me.

If it never leaves the house I'd go for a Wismec Reuleaux RX200. It's pretty heavy with 3 18650s in it but is surprisingly small for that number of cells. Working very nicely for me. And can be had for about 30 quid from a UK supplier.

RE: Want To Buy A Backup Mod Box
But if you don't already have a balancing charger and 3 identical 18650s it'll cost quite a lot more

RE: Want To Buy A Backup Mod Box
I love the idea of the Touch Box, but the love affair ended when I saw it has integrated cells. That's a 100% deal killer; I have to be able to swap cells and not miss a step with the vaping. I don't care if it charges in just 3 hours. Ain't happenin'. But the thought of a personalized screen image and touch screen is very appealing to me. Shame.
