Vapors tongue?
All I am tasting is salt water-ish vapor. Doesn't matter what I put in the tank.

Is this Vapors Tongue? Or something else?

Be really careful Indigo - this could actually be something very serious - like a new coil[Image: tongue.gif].

Water.

Always the best advice. Far, far too many folk are chronically dehydrated.

Water is best, but if it's wet it helps. If you don't fancy water put a few drops of lemon juice in it. Or vinegar. The acidity will clear the mouth fast.

To cleanse the pallet, black coffee is damn hard to beat.

For chronic dehydration, soda pop is the next best thing to counterproductive no matter how wet it is, lol.

RE: Vapors tongue?
That's often my problem, not drinking enough water. If I'm driving I chug it down. Have to have flavor water to tempt me at home.

I drink lots of fizzy water and lime - the carbon dioxide in the water really freshens your mouth - and mine[Image: tongue.gif].

RE: Vapors tongue?
A little of the carbon dioxide will react with water to form the weak acid, carbonic acid.

Acidity (to a reasonable degree) in liquids does tend to refresh the mouth.
