RE: Vaping dissatisfaction
I love comics!!! My collection is kinda small, but I have a few beauties. All the comic shops near me have closed down, but we have a swap meet once a month, and that keeps me going for now. I have several hobbies, it drives my wife crazy, but comics is high on my list of things to blow money on.

My comics collection isn't that big but it's all titles I enjoy reading. Most aren't worth much, just back issues of Deadpool, Wolverine, Harley Quinn, stuff that I enjoy. A few crossovers, but I try to keep it as cheap as I can and don't follow too many series.

It's not the size of the collection, but how much you enjoy it.

That's exactly my logic. Why should I spend tons of money on mint-condition comics that never come out of their bags? I'd much rather have a small collection of favorites that I can read without feeling guilty. Of course there are a few issues I'd love to own in a frame, like New Mutants 98 (first appearance of Deadpool) but for now I'd rather spend the money on issues I can read anytime without destroying their value.

I'm not touching the illusive dollars saved by the medical industry and companies when you stop smoking.
Fatboy, big thanks for chiming in about holes in the shirts, thought I was the only one.

Bibliora, I wouldn't have admitted it publicly Smile

You know there is still another similar benefit....I worried for years that my wife was going to burn the house door from careless smoking.....with some medical issues, she sometimes can barely stay awake, other times can't sleep at all....

I recall not that long ago waking up in the morning and walking into the sitting room.....without even giving it much thought I said "in the past whenever you couldn't sleep all night I'd walk in here and this place smelled like a stinkin' pool hall - this morning this room smells like a bakery and you just baked some banana bread!" Smile she laughed - I laughed - damn I wish she'd made banana bread! Smile

I too have some medical issues where the meds might make fall asleep on the couch.  It's that or not being able to sleep.  When that happens I would work my way up to two packs a day.  To my shame we had to replace our couch because of all the burn holes I caused.  The best side benefit of vaping is my hubby doesn't nag about the house stinking.  That is just about priceless.

On the other site, if you didn't follow their recommendations to the letter you were an outcast, and if you used anything less than a 100 watt mod you were sucking on a "douche flute". Not cool.

I'm glad I didn't stumble across that forum....people like that annoy the hell out of me....

I've been an avid motorcyclist since before I was even legally allowed to ride a motorcycle... "hard core" riders sometimes would ask why I do the hand wave to the riders of the import bikes.... to me riding is riding, wind therapy is wind therapy....

As for benefits of not being a smoker, I had quit smoking back in the mid 90's for about 18 months...religiously tossed the cash into a drawer...used that $3G to use as a deposit on my first Harley...after having had 14 or so motorcycles before that....had a small bike collection at the time until I built my current machine back in 2001, a custom built Fatboy...

RE: Vaping dissatisfaction
I would like to add my thoughts on the forum...

Forums are a hobbie of mine. I currently own and operate 6 (first one started in 2007). They are all small in the grand scheme of things but with over 10k members, as a whole, it can be a challenge to manage. This forum is run exactly how mine are. No spam, no personal attacks, opposing opinions are encouraged but with out a condescending attitude. Those that don't follow the rules can easily find another forum where that kind of behavior is allowed. I have only had to ban 3 people since 2007... they felt that my alleged "censorship" was in violation of there free speech rights Big Grin

The tone of the forum is set by the founders and enhanced by the moderators and you guys are doing an amazing job.
