Vaping - Necessity or Enjoyment
Hi everyone - a question for you. Do you vape because you need the Nicotine by some method or is it pure enjoyment now that you have successfully kicked the smoking habit.
Most of the people I know are now vaping because they enjoy it and feel that they have kicked the smoking habit. That goes for me too - I have turned it into a hobby even. All your comments are welcome.

C'mon. Of course it's a hobby for hundreds of thousands. But I do enjoy my nic kick in the morning.

It's a hobby 100%. At 3mg salts, I pretty much don't notice it. When I mix, I leave some nic free and never notice which, so I will probably drop the expensive nic soon here. Really enjoy the hobby, definitely.

I’ll send you some samples I got if I can find them. I have DTL inhaled 20mg nic salt juice at 200W. Once. If I did that with any freebase nic at all I’d have coughed up half the street.

It really is that smooth. But the nic headache from DTL 20 mg juice at sillywatts was memorable.

It can be done, but I do this stupid stuff so others don’t have to.

I use the same 3mg as I did with freebase. I don't even know it's there.

RE: Vaping - Necessity or Enjoyment
Today's the day I mix without nicotine. If we don't notice, I'm going to use the remaining nic as pesticide, since that's what it is anyway.

RE: Vaping - Necessity or Enjoyment
As for me, it's a smoke addiction, I like to let out smoke, but I don't like the smell of cigarettes, so I chose VAPE. My favorite flavors are melon and cherry. And yours? But I know it's not very healthy, so I try to do it as little as possible. And I noticed that if I'm passionate about my work or hobby (I have a workshop at home where I carve wood figures), I almost don't have time to take a smoke break. By the way, I recently read a good article about things that really inspire you and I realized that it's very important to have a hobby that makes your life meaningful. I wonder what do you think about it?

RE: Vaping - Necessity or Enjoyment
I do it for the nic. Don't get me wrong, it's fairly enjoyable given all the wonderful flavors and how smooth it is in comparison to smoking, but I definitely vape for the nicotine. I have some bottles of nic-free (0mg) juice around and I'll mess with it every once in a while but it does not do it for me. I actually got it to see if I could just start vaping no nic juice but it wouldn't cut it for me. I'm a former pack a day smoker and when I did eventually switch to vaping it was with 5% salts. I've gotten that down but more recently went right back up to 5%... I should probably work on getting that number down again but I've been fairly stressed lately between moving in the middle of a pandemic and having to work more than usual. If I can get down to 0nic I'm going to quit vaping I think. For me, I'm hoping that vaping is just a stepping stone to quitting all of it. Giving up cigarettes was a huge win for me so if I end up continuing to vape indefinitely I'll still be relatively content with knowing that I quit cigarettes.
