Hi I wanted to ask about nicotine. Does it change the flavor, and is it more harsh to inhale than 0 nicotine?  I also heard that VG is better. It doesn't cause as much throat irritation as PG. True? Not true?

RE: Vape Mouth
Nicotine can add a peppery taste. Higher nicotine levels will make you more likely to cough. VG in my experience is not as rough on the throat as PG.

I don't think nicotine adds/changes the flavor noticeably, though granted the highest mix I've tried was 18mg; perhaps there’s a flavor change at higher mixes? Either way, nicotine definitely adds some throat burn. I started out on 12mg (ouch,) backed it down to 6mg and have since decided 0mg is the way to go for me as I vape more for the flavors than the fix.

There's no ‘I’ in ‘TEAM.’ There’s no ‘U’ either. It doesn’t appear the TEAM needs us, so let’s go grab a beer!Drinks

RE: Vape Mouth
Ok thanks...I noticed that some on line Vape shops give you a choice of PG or VG, some don't. I must have PG, it seems a little harsh on my throat.

I think there's a big difference between 0mg and juice that contains at least some level of nicotine, just from my experience. 0mg juice seems to taste almost watery, just not a lot of substance to it and the flavors seem weaker. But it could be psychosomatic, who knows.

I was thinking of getting a little nicotine, but I was afraid of ruining the flavor, but I guess it doesn't.

RE: Vape Mouth
Well I got 3mg of Nicotine. Its not bad, but I probably won't get it again. Makes me cough a little. As far as vape mouth goes, When I wake up in the morning, I definitely need a drink of water. My throat is very dry and sore. Not to happy about that. But! Not enough to give up vaping.

Round here, this phenomenon is known as "vapers' tongue"

This does happen and changing around flavours every so often will help - but make sure you keep up your fluid intake - most people don't take enough fluids in a day.
Hi Don - I agree completely about the liquid intake - but not water - my favourite vaping time is with a bottle or three of Dark Island beer with a virginia and desert mix - magic in the Nautilus Mini.

RE: Vape Mouth
I have found the complete opposite. Vaping makes my mouth wet, not at all dry.

RE: Vape Mouth
I do drink a great deal of fluids. My favorite is half/half tea. Lipton makes it. It's like the Arnold Palmer Brand. Half Tea/ half lemonade. The other problem is that I am a mouth breather, so that kinda contributes to my dry throat. No biggie..I can live with it.
