Transitions
Like all journeys, we have options on routes/paths and direction we take.... the one thing I have noticed in my journey is how my vaping style and preferences have changed....

Lately aside from my commute vape mods, as soon as I get home I pull out the Noisy Cricket and usually a mech tube mod - this goes without saying that I have managed to conserve a bucket load of ejuice! Dripping is definitely more economical than feeding the thirsty CLEITO 120 or TFV8. Smile

How has your vape style changed on your journey?

RE: Transitions
Always been a cloud chaser tbh. I'd like to be the 'all about the flavour' guy but it doesn't satisfy my craving. My path has been a quest for the biggest lungful.

RE: Transitions
Like many, I stared MTL, then moved on to DL and subohm in a tank, then found dripping. Stayed with that until Spring this year when I needed a tank for the drive to Florida, and now have settled into my happy place, called RDTA.

RE: Transitions
yes the TFV8 certainly is a juice pig .
i started with the blue and similar products eventually moving to pens then box mods in an effort to get more battery life .
along the way i found a hobby in coil building , DIY juice and cloud/flavor chasing . my nic level has gone from 21mg to 3mg and now with the cloud beast and rx200s im looking at 1.5 - 2mg for that particular setup .
vape has been a long and entertaining journey .

RE: Transitions
Hi FB - My vape style has not changed at all since I started vaping 'full time' over 2 years ago. I still vape MTL and I still use 18mg nic.
What has changed dramatically however is the gear I now use. I very seldom use a tank now unless I am out and about. I use squonkers and RDA's and build my own coils - not great ones but they work fine. I also mix my own juice - big changes since joining this forum with my 20W Istick and my Nautilus[Image: smile.gif]. I think I am at the end of my vaping journey now and my style will not change any further but I will always be buying new stuff - mods and RDA's that are suitable for MTL - this is my big challenge now - finding tight draw RDA's and making sure that the mods I buy adjust in power by increments of 0.1W. Not as easy as it used to be now that the fashion is DTL - but I have always enjoyed a challenge and I am not too old yet to change that[Image: smile.gif]. Right now I am vaping with my 13/9 - recommended by TW - his recommendation was spot on - as were all the others I got from forum staff - if it had not been for this forum I would still be using the Istick and my Nautilus - great gear but rather dated now - like me[Image: tongue.gif].

RE: Transitions
My new squonk can be adjusted by .1 - it's a DNA 75w. The atty is the Haladay which can be adjusted to a tight airflow. I don't know why it took me so long to find squonks but I'm a diehard squonk fan now. I only own three but I'm looking for more.

RE: Transitions
Yes, squonking is a revelation. First non-mech mod I ever came across was a (then new) DNA30 squonker. Which had cost it's owner a fortune.
