RE: Too Much PG in my DIY juice making
Since I don't always remember to close the air flow off when I refill, I need to avoid leakage as much as possible.  I hate sticky stuff.  I haven't mixed in a couple weeks.  I need to go thru all the ones I already mixed up.  Determine what I did right and what I did wrong.

Never what you did wrong, merely what you can improve on! Smile

RE: Too Much PG in my DIY juice making
Thanks FB, I will look at as a challenge.  I dislike most of what I made.  So far the Raspberry Cheesecake is good, but needs tweaking.  My attempt at vanilla custard is almost unvapable.  Apple Pie Alamode has almost no flavor.  Pineapple Cola is horrible.  However Pineapple and Tangerine is great, an all day vape.  Next mix will be watermelon raspberry.

pineapple colla ?? nice jump outside the box , you don't know if you don't try.
im inclined to believe the apple pie alamode will require a deep steep , such subtle flavors aren't likely to bloom easily.

I wouldn't give up on the flavour combinations...just would alter the % of flavour but would also visit a place like http://www.99juices.com or http://www.kritikalmass.net for ratio ideas...

i.e.: for 20 ml of apple pie alamode it has a recipe as:

TFA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream Flavor 1.2ml 6% of total
TFA Apple Pie Flavor 3ml 15% of total

another for the same amount of base:

TFA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream Flavor 0.8ml 4% of total
TFA Cotton Candy (Circus) 0.4ml 2% of total
TFA Apple Pie Flavor 2.6ml 13% of total
TFA Caramel (Original) Flavor 0.26ml 1.3% of total

How does this compare to your recipe?

RE: Too Much PG in my DIY juice making
i have a DIY coconut lime that i'm still working , lime is a shake n vape flavor that atm dominates the coconut even though only 1/3 of flavor . i shold have my new coconut base saturday with any luck and tweak this recipe (new batch ) still going to let what i have steep , gut feeling is this idea has merit.

RE: Too Much PG in my DIY juice making
I tried an orange creamsicle DIY - didn't turn out great but as it was only 18 ml total, put aside about 10 ml to see the effect of steeping....

I had tried it as:

Creamsicle 5%
Wild Blueberry 2.5%
Grape Candy 1.25%
Cotton Candy 1.25%

As you can see I keep my ratios even as a base amount - I can adjust easier this way...

RE: Too Much PG in my DIY juice making
i keep close track of ratios , once you find that sweet spot you can make a flavor base . my origional coconut lime 3:5:1 lime/coconut/vinilla may be spot on ,or a fail .regardless it's still vapeable.

Is 3:5:1 the % ratio of each? Sad

The 20ml recipe is darn close.  What's hard for is I rarely taste the full flavor of a juice.  Still recovering from smoking.  I did steep it for a month.  I steep anything with a creamy element for a month.  That's why I only now trying some of the early mixes I did.  I'm hitting myself for making 30ml of this stuff.  Since I don't have many 15ml bottles, I'll go for 15ml in a 30ml bottle.  I'm thinking of adding some sugar cookie to the apple pie since it is so many recipes.
