RE: Today I learned...
Today I learned - once again - that if you want something done, you have to do it yourself.

Remind one liberal per day, that laws affect only the law-abiding.

RE: Today I learned...
Today I learned a lot about sucking up...

During the process of making some e liquid, I found the syringe (12ml) wasn't smooth at all, leaps and jumps. I also learned that while the needles were probably the right gauge, 1.5 inch long made the whole process very hard.

Today I learned that "Terumo" make very good syringes, and you can buy 1ml ones and 5ml ones along with 14G needles just 13mm long, or just use the syringe without them.

And so sucking up the liquid in small amounts can be very easy with the right tools

RE: Today I learned...
So there I was this evening vaping on my ABS with my El Cabron at .16ohm. I had not changed the cotton for a good week and i vape it every day. So I figured I would change it regardless. I pulled out the cotton. Not a singe on it. The coils had discolored a bit but dry burn and a toothbrush and they were fine. Now my cotton bacon lasts maybe two days. My muji squares about the same. This was texas cotton. I, have it in a few attys but this is the first I'm changing because I use this the most. I'm truly impressed. I was told the texas cotton keeps on tickin' and takes a lickin' by a few experienced vapors but I figured the claims exaggerated. I'm going out and buying more!! It will sit my authentic asmosus 30mm on top of my authentic four guardian gods 26500 mod - well it telescopes to 26650 too. It will be my daily vape now.

RE: Today I learned...
TIL that Kesha has been involved in a lawsuit with her producer who she claims raped her, and the courts dismissed it saying there was not enough evidence. Now I don't know all the info, and there's always multiple sides to any story, but it strikes me as odd that people say "if you were raped, you should stand up for yourself in court" and yet when she does, they quickly dismiss the case and force her to go back to work with the man. I don't think she was lying about it, but even if she was, they haven't proved it, they've only said there isn't enough evidence to convict him, in which case I believe she shouldn't be forced to go back and make six more records with him. She does have an option to work with a different producer (under the same record label) but if she does, they won't promote her since he's their "hit-maker" so it's not much of an option, and she won't be released from her contract.
I know this is a controversial topic and I'm not wanting to start a fight or anything, just found this out today and wanted to share my two cents worth.

RE: Today I learned...
I am constantly sneezing while vaping. It leads to pulled back muscles ... and neck muscles  ... and ... or maybe I'm just OLD! Old as a Don. See how wrinkled I am ...

Smile RE: Today I learned...
Today I learned that building coils is more difficult than I thought for even the simplest ones - I take my hat off to all you guys who build your own and to you gently for the artistry you put into them as well. I also learned that wicking is an art in itself and done properly makes such a difference to the vape. Also the Kuro Koiler is great for wire up to 28gauge but not so clever for the finer 30 gauge or more - although they do tell you it is only for 22 - 28 gauge wire[Image: smile.gif]. I am off to practice some more - maybe in a year or two I might get better at it - I do seem to have mastered the wicking though[Image: smile.gif].

RE: Today I learned...
TIL that bass is hard... I'm a guitar player, preferably lead electric, but I also play rhythm and acoustic from time to time. But our bass player is incapacitated with a torn ACL, so I decided to step up and get out my bass that I haven't played in years... Geez, it's harder than it looks! I have massive respect for all the bass players out there, it's really an art form, one which I have not yet mastered. I can get by for a simple set like we'll be playing at church tonight, but I can't imagine how some guys are able to play complex riffs all day everyday in real bands.
