The coils are 2x the cost of the other coils....$25+ for 3 coils...like my first sports car....blew the clutch on it and clearly remember telling the service rep that almost $700 for a clutch was ridiculous....this was in the mid 80's where gas was 85c (gallon), rent was $300 a month and service rep tells me, if you can afford the car, you have to be able to afford the repairs...not exactly a people person.... Smile

Strange what we remember: I clearly recall reading the local newspaper (while I was in the waiting area) and there being a story about a recent scientific study of Loch Ness to find proof that Nessie existed. (keeping the Scots in the conversation) Smile

If I recall, you can use an app on your phone with the xcube2 to change the LED bar color.

You can change the color without the app. The app gives you some real time readings on your mod. You can change any of the settings with the app but you can change all the settings without it too. Some find it easier to use the app. It's not like escribe. Or the Yihi upgrades. You can upgrade your mod to 180 watts with the online upgrade. The app has a news feed to tell hat upgrades are available though. So do you need the app - no. It's a nice gimmick.

Also suppose to be able to |lock| the mod to keep minors from using it! Track usage pattern and power cell remaining.... at least that's what the guy at the local shop was saying.... as Bibs said, my first thought went to remote vaping and any possible such application....

Today I learned that this page exists. Honestly I don't know if it's a staff-only thing or if everyone can see it, but it's basically just stats about the most popular threads on the forum and active users. I find it quite interesting to see who's posted the most in a day (spoiler: it's usually me) and which threads have the most views/replies.

RE: Today I learned...
not today, but recently, I have learned that if you drive a van, you should not put your turning signal on too soon if you wish to "change lanes". People speed up because they do not want to be behind you in traffic!

Everyone can see it. It is at the bottom of the front page.

RE: Today I learned...
Today I learned that starting work at 8am on Monday is not a lot of fun when you kinda forgot to go to bed till 4am.

There was a time, but that time was in the late 70's...

Forty years later, I need rather more than two hours of sleep.

RE: Today I learned...
I've had the misfortune of making the mistake of staying up all night when having to work the next day. Like you, that happened well in the days of my youth, and like you, can't happen anymore.
