Thinning out 100 VG?
Is there a way to thin out 100 VG juice? I ask because I have an Atlantis and I was told you shouldn't use anything more than 80 VG because it is too thick and doesn't pull into the wicking fast enough. Thoughts on this?

You could use some PG, distilled water, pure grain alcohol maybe... but all of this will also dilute your flavor too

Edit: pure grain alcohol MAY not be a good choice.

I know a shot of PGA has extreme throat hit Wacko
Its also extremely flamable and could potentially get you drunk vaping.

Hate to say it, but I'd have to get some 80 VG for the tank and just drip the 100.

RE: Thinning out 100 VG?
To cut max VG juices, distilled water is your best bet if you're against PG.  Never put any liquor in your tank and vape it...if subjected to a breathalizer test after vaping it, your results will be WAY off...not to mention if a cop smells it...you can be charged with open container.  It also poses a serious issue of catching on fire or shooting flames into your lungs.  High proof alcohol has a very low flash point and does not require an open flame to ignite, low enough that even a coil soaked in juice can ignite it. I have tested this in a Nautilus and an Atlantis.

Vodka or Pure Grain Alcohol can be used to clean your tank out to remove stubborn flavors, but it should always be rinsed out thoroughly.

RE: Thinning out 100 VG?
FWIW I vape 100% VG in my Atlantis without issue. Before you worry too much about thinning it down, try the 100 first and see if it works or not. Wink

Rofl Seems "shooting flames into your lungs"  should have been listed FIRST! I'd rather fail a breathalizer once than fail at breathing ever again!!

There's no ‘I’ in ‘TEAM.’ There’s no ‘U’ either. It doesn’t appear the TEAM needs us, so let’s go grab a beer!Drinks

RE: Thinning out 100 VG?
I've used vodka in the past without issue. 40 proof is only 20% alcohol by volume and the rest is distiller water. Leave the cap on the juice open overnight to steep and what little alcohol is there will be gone.
