RE: The ultimate mod?
I am a welder, so I want to make welding arcs in my pocket Spiteful

So, looks like they are selling them through Vape Happy now, and will be $300...

I sent Grand Innovations a message on FB asking if they are still going to do the second preorder at $215... but I think it is unlikely
If so, $215 was pushing it, cant justify $300 on it

But having looked, it seems that retail is going to be $400.

Way out of my ballpark.

RE: The ultimate mod?
Wasn't the gi1 50w capable or 85w or something? There was a thread on it on the faceache page,  I could live with 85 watts tbh....

RE: The ultimate mod?
Yeah, same here. I have bought cars that were actually inspectable and all for less than this mod... It is a shame because I really wanted one, but $215 was already pushing what I should and shouldnt spend on a single mod

RE: The ultimate mod?
Given the usual exchange rate, that isn't too awful though I'd expect it to be nearer £249 (Pennies short of $400 at today's exchange rate) than £199.

RE: The ultimate mod?
Even at £250 its comparable to some dna20 mods all things considered.  Still out of my league for a bit.

RE: The ultimate mod?
That's a real bummer you missed out on the launch price Pulsar - but the thing is, with all this new innovation coming out I really wouldn't be surprised to see something equally capable and innovative right around the corner. Well I hope so anyhow Tongue

RE: The ultimate mod?
I had got a response from them. They said that there has already been a lot of upgrades to the unit since the introductory launch, and thats why the $85 raise in price... Dodgy

I had asked them about the Gi1. If I get any info on it, I will be sure to relay the information
