RE: Temp Control Ceramic
I agree, tc is better for a more consistent vape that's always good, every time (as long as you get everything set properly). Personally I use power mode much more often though, just since I like blowing giant clouds and it's quite hard to get the same amount of vapor from a TC vape. But like you said, different strokes for different folks.

Honestly, I don't think there are very many good TC tanks out there. The only good TC I've ever experienced is when I build my own coils. I look for flavor and big clouds, and while some TC tanks with pre-made coils are decent for flavor, I can get much better flavor and much bigger clouds out of a pair of SS claptons on an RDA or RDTA. Just my two cents worth, like TW said SS wire is good in TC mode and in power mode so it's nice and versatile. The only problem with SS in TC mode is that it can be difficult to get a high enough resistance for it to work well, since SS has a low resistance and the coils need to be around 0.3 ohms or higher to get a good TC vape since its TCR is quite low. At least, that's my experience with it, though like I said I usually prefer just setting the wattage so I'm not the best fountain of information on TC.

I do TC 90% of the time. Sometimes I do get frisky and switch to power mode to create disturbances in the atmosphere. That's the beautiful thing about SS316. Vapes great in either mode.
Yeah, same here..  TC is comfortable and easy, PC is fun and showy..  different strokes...

I'm perfectly capable of toodle vaping with kanthal in PC. I don't have to be showy. I personally think TC is over-hyped. But to each his own. I'm sure Eddie is using my VC cyclone in power mode at 12 watts and enjoying it. With the right mod ( a mod you can dial in to .1 watts) and the right RDA and coil, you do not ever need TC. I can get a very consistent vape. I've been using my Goblin mini V1 this evening at 25.3 watts on my Vaporflask. Dialed in perfectly.

RE: Temp Control Ceramic
I got an SVD 2.0 a few days ago, been toodle vaping on my Nautilus Mini at 9.8W. It's fun from time to time, though I usually am using a Phenotype-L with SS fused claptons at 120W or so Tongue

Though earlier today I was going through some boxes and found my Kayfun, my Lemo 2, and an old single-coil Igo RDA. Thinking about building those just for kicks.
