TFV8 Cloudbeast Dumps Juice
So I have it sitting on top of a Wismec 2/3, and it seems to randomly leak massive amounts of juice when I set it down upright....  even after making absolutely certain the tank was assembled correctly.  It seems to do this more with the large hole single coils, anywhere between 80-150w.

It would also leak if I filled it more than halfway.  FWIW, I also found that the clear o-ring that sits above the coil in the chimney was slightly thinner than the spare; swapping them out and installing coils tightly in reverse solved the >1/2 full leak.

But the other leak is highly aggravating. On more than a few occasions it leaked at least 1/4 of a tank over, and into, my Wismec. Taking one of those mods apart because it's soaked in juice is a major PITA.

I've also tried the RTA deck; wicking it isn't nearly as easy as my Griffin, and it sucks juice like crazy.  The TFV8 certainly isn't for anyone looking to conserve juice....

So far I've gone back to the Griffin, but I'd like to figure out the Cloudbeast because the flavor from it is better.

Mine only leaks under two conditions - when the pre-built coil needs to be replaced and when using the RBA deck, the cotton wasn't installed properly or requires changing....I've been using mine almost daily for 8+ months and have never had to replace O-rings or even the silicone top seal.

As for being thirsty, depending on the RBA deck, you can conserve juice by wrapping much higher ohms coils and run it in much lower watts. With a .6 ohms dual coil configuration a dual 26g, 9 wrap, 2.5mm id will provide great flavour, good clouds and do it at 50W and will drink a fraction of juice...

You want to vape with big boys you are going to go through juice, bro. I am vaping the Ijoy combo between 86-100 watts and I'm drinking juice. It is what it is.

I haven't gotten around to twisting up my own coils, but the last I tried was with dual "Juggernauts" that read .5ohm.  But with that, no matter what I did, it always tasted like it was burning juice....  no matter what the wattage.

I gave the ones that came with it a whirl, but just never got flavor anywhere close to what the premade coils afforded.

As it stands now, this Griffin had been far less figity and leaky.  I run it around 65w on .20 dual coils.

Is it leaking from the airflow or from around the glass?

Airflow.

Also, I've noticed the quality of new premade V4 .15ohm coils (large center hole) has gone down.  Out of the last three blister packs I opened, they all had wires sticking out, with the bottom post & gasket all cockeyed (barely installed).

But the coils that look like a 4-barrel carburetor don't seem to leak as often....

0.15 ohms seems low, Are they TC coils?

I have the tfv8 and i dont even use it anymore.  The factory coils for it are garbage,  period. It worked great for like a month.  Then every coil was done in like 2 days,  i gave up on it.  I used to have a different tank that would leak from the airflow,  turned out theres was a chip out of the top gasket on the cap so ot wasnt sealing airtight.
