As have I - since before the terms came into use. But the attitude was there.

RE: TC mods
I'm married, so hearing something as nice as nerd is kind of refreshing for a change.

The nice thing about living with giant schnauzers is that they don't call me names - or speak....

RE: TC mods
Ah, reminded me of an old joke.

A woman goes to her local pharmacy to buy some hair remover because the vet says the hair growing in her dog's ears needs to be removed.

The clerk says to her, "You may want to wear shorts for a few days because your legs will get itchy."

The woman says, "Oh I'm not using this on my legs."

So then he says, "Well, if you use this under your arms you'll probably want to wear sleeveless shirts for a couple days."

Once again the woman says, "I'm not using it under my arms, either."

So the clerk looking very confused asks, "What are you using it on, then?"

The woman frowns at him and says, "Not that it's any of your business, but it's for my Schnauzer."

The clerk rings up her purchase and after thanking her whispers, "I wouldn't ride a bike for a few days then."

Yep, this was actually the direction of my thoughts when I wrote that from before. I thought of the computer enthusiast who overclocked, build water-cooling, build new case designs, etc. They drove PC development in many ways. There is a similarity, isn't it?

But then, I do think for the mass market uncomplicated, easy to use devices are better suited than 200 W and building up things. Items and devices that truly can replace a cigarette without learning about ohms and metals, and carry a low price tag. Of course they still should perform.

What I think is also a bit connected with where I come from, the place which is a white spot on the map of vapers, from legal reasons.
