It's like that old joke- What do you get when you play a country song backwards? You get your car back, your girl back, your job back...

But seriously, it's amazing how much you miss without realizing you are missing it.

Can't beat that I just quit feeling Yahoo

Just stumbled on this oldie. But I did stop to recall how good it felt to be off analogs, and how exciting vaping was when you first get a taste of all the good flavors you can choose from. I remember at first, we used to hide in the bedroom and vape for a few minutes so the kids didn't see us. And I recall telling the wife we'd just always hide it and never do it in front of them. That crap lasted a week maybe. They didn't and don't care, which is cool. I also remember us both looking at each other and asking if we should stop yet, because we were used to the end-of-the-smoke thing happening with analogs, whereas there's no real timer with vaping. Fun times.

RE: Started vaping last weekend
I remember very clearly - no remarks TW - when I first started vaping. My New Year Resolution 4 years ago. For Christmas I got an Ego pen and a Aspire K1 tank and read up everything I could regarding vaping between Christmas and New Year and I thought I knew quite a lot[Image: tongue.gif].
Anyway it didn't work out very well and I was still smoking although not so much. My wife was not interested in the vaping thing at all but that just made me more determined to stop smoking and ''get used to it''. I kept reading - and vaping - and smoking and read one day about a tank called the Nautilus and how wonderful it was. I had also read about being able to change power on the ''battery thingy'' made a big difference to the flavour and quality of the vape. I purchased a 20W Istick and a Nautilus tank and some Raspberry juice and a pack of 1.8ohm coils and took it all home - still not all that hopeful to be honest. The difference when I tried it was like night and day and I have never had a cigarette since. My wife was so impressed she decided to give it a go and a second Istick and Nautilus arrived - she tried it and has never had a cigarette since - totally instant change. I then found this forum and of course things moved on which I have talked about here - a lot[Image: smile.gif]. I still have my Nautilus and Istick and always will have - I even use it from time to time. My wife still uses hers everyday - wont change a thing - she now has two and is not interested in any other gear. This forum has taken my vaping journey to places I could never imagine back then - a hobby - how the hell could it ever become a hobby[Image: tongue.gif]. Thanks Guys.

RE: Started vaping last weekend
I was already quit when vaping really opened up to me. But the awful feeling was still there. That terrible need for something I was no longer supposed to have. Always there whenever I went out in public, I smelled the cigarettes, they smelled good. Always still wanting one, months after my last one. I was having the occasional cigar and probably well on my way to a whole relapse into cigarette addiction when my husband brought us that first Smok alien mod.

Subohm vaping fixed all that for me. No more strong cravings. No more feeling punished.

The hobby and how happy I am to participate in vaping, gear, building my simple coils, making juices, and helping others with the same...
The fun of it is what has had the biggest impact, maybe more important than the nicotine.

People think I am vape crazy and spend too much time talking about it, and trying new things, or wanting more gear. Even my husband, that vapes at least 15ml a day thinks I am vape crazy. But, the whole hobby part of it is what really changed my life. It makes me happy and I can't help but share. It is a notch in the key to my success in keeping off cigs. I really loved my tobacco too. I would go to the tobacconist and buy fancy bags when I could have went with the cheap stuff. ROFL!

I go deep into the rabbit hole, if something makes me happy and keeps my interest. Real deep...

Hello up there?
