I will do my RX 2/3 this weekend, but I have to be honest. After reading all the issues everyone is having the past two weeks I am scared to touch the thing. It still is working.

The big deal here is that it is no longer running Wismec firmware, it's Arctic Fox now. Maybe now that it isn't a Wismec anymore, I'll have good luck with it. Amazing how deep you can dive with the settings, even modifying the power curve of the hit, super enhanced TCR setup (well beyond just entering the TCR value). For something I'd never heard of until this morning, I wonder how I lived without it on the RX300. Impressive.

I meant to post about this earlier. But when Ray mentioned it I thought it was a good time to let people know. Of course, I'm using mods with starplat,the VO chip, DNA and Yihi. My wife has it set up on her Pico but she vapes at 15 watts in power mode so ...

Yep, it is good TW. There is a facebook page you can follow as well and ask questions. We really need a dedicated thread on how to download and set it up for the newcomers and those that are not all that computer literate.

I don't do Facebook, but don't need to ask questions- it's that easy to use. I love that you can disable USB charging, not just because it sucks, but also you don't have to worry about charging the thing while you're connected to AF on the laptop.

A dedicated thread is a must. Do a write-up and we will sticky it. Be sure to mention you must install af_170201.bin on the mod before you do anything, since it needs to have Arctic Fox installed or the program won't recognize the device. Took me a minute to figure that out.

I look forward to seeing this. I have a busy week or two (My boss left last week and guess who got to do the work?) so no time to dig out a Windows box, make it work and then play. So I look forward to seeing a How To on it.

You're a smart guy, you don't need one. Download the two packages on the main AF page (toolkit and firmware). Launch the toolbox, connect the mod, and update the firmware to the one you just downloaded. That'll convert it to AF. Then all the options in the toolkit are available to tinker with. Very flippin' intuitive setup there.
