So 2015 ends
At the start of 2015 I was pretty sure my DNA 40 and Atlantis tank was as good as it gets.

Holy cow!! What a year. Every week there is a new 'flavor of the week' tank designed to be vaped at 60+ watts. Yes 60+ watts. Every new device has temp control. DNA200 with escribe software changed the game. Pre made coils have arrived ... fancy claptons, TFV tri quad and sextuple coils. new nickel SS and titanium coils. Do thjey make new devices under 60+ watts now, lol.

Thankfully the MTL guys did get some new toys too - the GS Air and the Triton 2 ( with 1.8 coil ) are both great MTL tanks. There are a few and I say few new devices at 25- 40 watts. Seems 100-200 watts is the standard now.

The other big change was in RTAs. Used to be maybe two or three real nice RTAs. Now a new and better RTA is released every few weeks.  Most tanks have new RBAs. It is near impossible to test and try everything. The market is flooded with toys.

I have many of the new toys. Crown, TFV4, DNA 200s, multiple RDAs. So back to the top ... I never moved from a  DNA40 and Atlantis tank. Want to know my new favorite set up? It is an XvoStick DNA 40 with a Triton 2 tank with the .5 clapton coil vaping at 35 watts. I came full circle back to the start. Funny that.

So how was your journey?

RE: So 2015 ends
You're right Paul, lots of changes and evolution of hardware, mostly for the better it seems too.

Not much has changed in 2015 for me vape-wise. although thanks to Don - I'm trying Temp Control for the first time and it's all good so far Good

I can't even remember all of what's come and gone! Buy, sell, trade, put in a draw it's all lost in the anuls of time.. And some of its in the freecycle thread Tongue.

Beastly coils have changed vaping for me this year, and good cotton. I don't remember organic cotton being as readily available this time last year.. I don't miss that '100% cotton' taste either!

Don't forget to apply for the freecycle section!

RE: So 2015 ends
This has been such a huge year for product and I still use my old gear most and a lot of my new stuff sits on the shelf. I must have spent a good 300-400 dollars on new gear - tanks and vaporizers - and still cling to old habits.

RE: So 2015 ends
It has been 'the year of the power mods' - 200W are old hat now. TC is still finding it's way but is getting better. MTL vapers have seen 'super tanks' appear that can both standard vape and sub ohm and use TC. MTL vapers have also seen the 'magic bullet' appear on the market in the form of the 1.5 ohm coil from Eleaf for their GS tanks. I wonder what next year will bring with the new legislation[Image: confused.gif]
