Simple box mod

Couldn't wait for my mech mods to get here and had some parts that i got from 18sixfifty. So i threw together a box mod using using a usb charger box i had ordered from FT. Put in the 510 connector and installed a button amd wired it up. It actually came out functional and useful. Put on a Igo-w from FT, the one with the sun on it, with a 1 ohm micro coil and cotton. Works very good and hits nice. While i was at it i drilled out the side air hole to a little bit bigger because the hole it came with it had a very tight draw. Trying to get a pic up of it.

Good

Definitely with Spas on the button position.

While bottom firers work, I think I'll be looking for side firers from now on. I'm not all that fond of pinkie wiggling to fire.

Looks good and no duct tape in evidence Smile

Didn't use the USB charging part as the usb box was with out any boards it was just an empty box.
Hopefully I didn't mislead anyone.

The width of the box made it perfect to fit a switch on the side.  Its easy to use either way you have it turned in your had.  Thumb fire or pointer finger fire.  I ran down one battery and put another one in yesterday.  These are only the 2200mah batteries, I think.  They look like the ones that 18sixfifty posted for sale.

I agree - Nicely done, now I'm going to have to find one of those boxes... look! they even have the battery tab holders in the right place Big Grin annnd a nice bit of free space in the bottom for your DNA-20 board Tongue

Nicely done Apt, is that one of 18sixfifty's switches ? do you know how many amps it can handle ?
