Sigelei 100 vs 150
Does anyone know if the Sigelei 150 is much better than the 100? I have noticed that the price is pretty similar. Based on this it seems to make more sense to get the 150. Anything I should consider when comparing/buying?

RE: Sigelei 100 vs 150
Personally I'd prefer it if the 150W had more than two 18650s in it. 150W at 8.4V (Two fully charged cells) is 150/8.4=17A. But at 7.6V which is around the area it'll probably stop working) it is just shy of 20A. Make sure you are using a matched pair of cells that have been balance charged. At 100W the numbers are rather safer but I'd still balance charge the cells.

I'd only use Sony VTC3/4/5 cells or LG HE2/HE4 or Samsung 25R in either. Be very careful wit VTC5 cells as just about all of them on the market just now are fakes.

RE: Sigelei 100 vs 150
Honestly, I don't see a reason to get a 150. I have a Sigelei-100W and a God Mod 180W, and I never use them at full power. I keep the Sigelei on about 70W all the time, and the God Mod is usually at about 50-60. It's fun to have something super powerful just to say you've got it, but if you're anything like me you'll probably forget the higher powers are there.

I guess my question is more because they are pretty much the same price. Does the 150 have any other attributes that make it better than the 100?

The 150W is far more aesthetically pleasing IMO (the extra power is kind of moot since barely anyone approaches those levels except the hardcore cloud chasers)

If I were you, I'd get a Sigelei-100W Plus. Those things look gorgeous, and have some nice features that are better than the original, such as a self-adjusting 510 connection.

RE: Sigelei 100 vs 150
If your talking about the 100 watt plus then the 100watt plus does have a floating 510 pin which is the most beneficial thing.  I don't think the original 100 watt is floating but does have a screwing one.  The 100 watt plus has a curvy button and the original has a flat shape button.  Everything else should be the same.  I am more of a 30 to 50 watt person as of now and don't think I will ever reach 100 watts nor ever reaching any higher.  It all depends on what you want as far as specs.  I personally like the fact that my 100 watt plus has a floating pin because of my little collection of drippers I can use without any adjustments.  The only thing I don't like are the 2 squiggly lines on the 100 plus, but I'm glad that they supplied a rubbery case for it so at least I can hide the squiggly lines.  Let us know what you decide on.....

RE: Sigelei 100 vs 150
bubba you're right, the original 100W has a screw to adjust the 510, which is annoying since you have to just sort of guess with it and then take the atty back off if it doesn't fit right. The floating 510 alone is enough of an upgrade to make it worth it in my opinion. I actually really like the look of it with the squiggly lines on the outside, it just adds a bit of flair. Also the original is a bit boxier, the Plus version has more rounded corners. Vaping at below 50W is a little bit annoying on the Sigelei in my opinion, since when you go below 50W it increases or decreases in .1W intervals, but some people might prefer that amount of flexibility.

RE: Sigelei 100 vs 150
I don't know about the floating 510 pin, it sounds nice and all but from past experience I would rather have the manually adjustable one. The mods I had in the past with floating pins all had troubles at one time or another. Juice gets in them and they end up sticking eventually. Nicer in the short term but probably not over the long term.

If the natural tendencies of mankind are so bad that it is not safe to permit people to be free, how is it that the tendencies of these organizers are always good? Do not the legislators and their appointed agents also belong to the human race? Or do they believe that they themselves are made of a finer clay than the rest of mankind?

Lol, yeah, everyone has different opinions with the squiggly lines.
I always think of "Family Guy" when ever I see those lines with stewie's quote
