Based on many recent posts from you lately, I'm thinking of the movie SPACE BALLS - you are closer to Yogurt played by Mel Brooks!

RE: STOP THROWING AWAY COILS
So this could be part of the problem.
I was getting no flavor at all and burnt hits.
Decided to put claptons in and when removing the wicks, one was totally drenched and the other was white and pretty dry where it was inside the coil.
And I'm using cotton bacon because that's all I have until the Japanese stuff comes next month.

RE: STOP THROWING AWAY COILS
Weird how other side was fine with same cotton strip size though.

Another thing though...I bought a set of claptons ahead of making myself which are supposed to be.6 for 1 or.3 for 2.
Meter is showing 1.17ohm with both coils installed.
What the hell am I doing wrong?

About the cotton, did you glow the coils before you wicked to make sure they lit evenly? Looks like one side was hotter than the other.

Don't know about that resistance reading, looks like they're in series!

Yes I glowed them before wicking. Even after and they both lot evenly.

Took coils out and squeezed them a bit. Put in 1 and shows.57, both installed now shows.34. I guess they were unwound a bit too much.

One side is glowing before the other side does. What's that mean?

It's heating faster than the other. Make sure they're both tightened properly and check for dirty connections.

Also, I missed the cotton bacon part. Remember I did say CBV2 tended to dam up like that... as mentioned use a bit less cotton.
