Rebuilables
Hello
I have been looking at wire and silica on stealth vape
I saw the kanthal sampler pack with an assortment of different thickness wires
I was also looking at the silica and that comes in thickness 1mm to 5mm
What thickness silica should I order
I don't mind ordering a few different thicknesses

Also could you recommend a easy to build 510 dripper

Thanks

RE: Rebuilables
Silica, 2-3mm will cover most things. I'd say get a metre of 2.5mm silica to start with. You'll only use a couple of inches at a time.

And get some unbleached/organic cotton wool. It works well in drippers. Better than silica IMO.

The igo-W is where I started and it works well enough. Single coil only though it has the posts for dual coil. There's no point in dual coils with only one smallish air hole though. I must get around to taking a drill to it.

RE: Rebuilables
I second the cotton. It's really nice because you can pull it out so easy. You can then do a dry burn and your ready for another flavor. Plus if you are going to try micro coils it's the only way to go. Although I do taste cotton at first. It takes a bit for the flavor to go away for me. You also need to be careful not to fire it up until you have juice on it with cotton. Because it will burn and you have to put more in.

Also when I think of easy to build I look for thumbscrews and post holes.

This is one of my favorites. It's small but it has a ton of flavor. Four wraps of 28 gauge on a 1/16 inch drill bit, using cotton. Rocks this little bad boy. Mirco coil of course. It's slightly sub ohm so it takes good batteries. More wraps or thinner wire if you want more ohms.

If the natural tendencies of mankind are so bad that it is not safe to permit people to be free, how is it that the tendencies of these organizers are always good? Do not the legislators and their appointed agents also belong to the human race? Or do they believe that they themselves are made of a finer clay than the rest of mankind?

RE: Rebuilables
I would personally go for a trident clone. Hae airflow options for both single and dual coil, mouth to lung or straight lung hits and works well from high resistance vw builds to .2ohm mech builds, has a reduced chamber and slotted posts for getting big wire in. Its extremely versatile in that respect, I paid about 18 quid from greyhaze but I've seen them much cheaper as well, for me the higher price was worthwhile as I have heard of cheaper posts failing, mines been in use daily since I got it and wont be going anywhere for a while.

One of these is on its way to me from FT. In a week or two I'll be able to comment on the quality or lack thereof of the Trident clone from Fasttech.

RE: Rebuilables
I keep meaning to pick up a trident too. I have a similar one with three air holes so I haven't yet. I was on a site that had them for about $8 but I can't remember which one it was. They had boatloads of stuff cheap so I bookmarked it but lost it when my computer crashed.

I'll search around and see if I can find it again. If I can I'll post it. The Trident does sound like a winner.

RE: Rebuilables
The Trident is great. Easy to build. Decent air flow. Overall a good design.
