Ahem, unless you want to use TC of course.
Look at me, making more posts. Just didn't want Kero to try using the .15 coils in power mode. Ick. I tried TC just randomly putting in settings, it was not a success. Another thing to learn when interest is piqued.

You need a TC coil and there's no room for 'random'. It's precise but awesome when dialed in. No dry hits, my battery life has increased 100% literally, and I am on day 6 of my current build of cotton without cleaning or re-wicking, a true record. It's literally a dream come true for me.

Yes, the 0.15ohm coils are for TC and I am currently using the mod in TC mode. Working fine thus far.

The flavor def seems so much better in TC mode vs VW mode. Maybe cause the mod is at a preset 40W for TC no matter what temp one chooses. Vape is nice and warm, not sure if warm or cool is better but my mod at lower temps barely does anything.

I think for the time being the mod is just fine for my needs.

Can't wait to get a new tank once my coils are used up Smile

I think I had a dud 1.2 ohm coil. Had a burnt taste after about 3 or 4 hits at 13w. Coil was primed properly.

Switched to the 0.15ohm coil in TC mode at 500F. Seems to be a semi warm vape, not bad. Anything under and it barely does anything.

Maybe there is a reason this tank was only $13.

kero, you can't go wrong with a CROWN tank - the coil options including ceramic is always a plus - they also have a buildable deck for it - I have it but am not a fan - likely can be a good deck but the wicking has been a challenge.... Smile

How would you compare the crown to the aspire triton 2. The triton 2 has a nice selection of coils and seems to be a highly rated tank.

You can't go wrong with either - I have TWO of the CROWN - had the t2 been available when I bought my 2nd CROWN I may have tried the t2...looks very similar with decent reviews...

I don't know the Triton 2, but if you really get into vaping, that extra ml is a deal breaker.

^^ Are you referring to the ml difference between the two tank capacities. Both are 3ml unless websites are wrong or I read something wrong. Of course I would like a 4ml but would sacrifice the mil for coils I can get easily and locally.

You must have read it wrong. The original Crown is 4ml and the Crown II is 5ml. The Crown is incredibly popular, you should have no problem finding coils.

Oh, I see. I could have sworn I read reviews that stated people thought the original crown is better. I don't recall why though. Will def check some shops this weekend for coil availability.
