RDA's - A vapers MTL dream
Over the last 6 to 9 months there has been an influx of really great MTL RDA's. In no particular order the following are used by me all the time now and the tanks have taken a back seat.
Holic; Ammit; Pixie; Galaxies; Dead Rabbit; Beserker have now all overshodowed the old but good RDA's such as the NaDar and Hadaly. While this has been happening, nearly all the new tanks coming on the market are sub-ohm and even the RTA's and RTDA's are not as prevalent as they used to be. In my opinion RDA's are by far the best mode of vaping for flavour and cloud chasing. The above mentioned RDA's are all suitable for squonking as well and squonking has become very popular now as never before. MTL vapers have never had it so good and I for one am a very happy bunny. I wonder where the next 6 months will take us - not down the Pod road I hope. Your comments - and disagreements - would be welcome.

All the new tanks are not sub-ohm. In recent months there is Tripod, Reload MTL, Gata, Glaz mini, Spiral MTL, Purity Plus, Merlin Nano and many more. RTAs are out there. And don't knock the OGs. I still love Kayfun Prime, Calix, Origen Little and Rose.
As far as RDAs go I use my Aiora RTA and my Achilles. Both old burt both better than anything new although there are a few new ones that are quite good.
And for sure pods are taking ooverv Eddie. People are bloody lazy. I have a Haku Zeta in my Bantam Box. It is unbelievably good flavour. People try it ansd are really immpressed. Than they biuy a pod, lol. Taking apart an RBA deck for a boro is just too much work for them.

Eddie, pods are low wattage MTL devices for the most part, so you should actually thank them for the resurgence of your beloved MTL gear. Pod users who want a little more are driving the MTL gear market I figure.

The thing about pods that I dislike is they are taking away all the hobby aspects of vaping. As Paul says it is making people lazy.

I agree. But it is getting people off analogs...

I'm sure when fags were first produced pre-rolled in factories and with filters, a lot of the old school self-wrapping DIY enthusiasts were pissed too. Probably said something like "The thing about factory smokes that I dislike is they are taking away all the hobby aspects of smoking tobacco. As Paul (Revere in this case) says is making people lazy."

Yes - after vaping all this time I keep forgetting it was to leave the cigs. behind that I started.

RE: RDA's - A vapers MTL dream
I differ a little.

"Good Enough" is far better than "perfect". Given that most folks just want to get away from the stinkies. And intend to stop vaping once the cravings die. And that is good. It doesn't matter why folks vape - if it is only to get away from the stinkies, it's all good.

Harm reduction is good, no matter what. This is highly contentious in Scotland given the population of Puritans. Who have done inestimable harm to Public Health policy. Sorry Eddie, but most of the lunatics live in Glasgow. And are disproportionately influential on Pubic Health policy. Which doesn't actually care about the health of the public but really, really cares about "purity".

Very much like the Nazi chemists who invented methadone as the nastiest possible way of detoxing folks from opioids. The green crap is more addictive than heroin FFS! And eats teeth. A hooker of my acquaintance (150ml of methadone a day - a huge dose is 30ml) told me that it was essential to brush your teeth before the methadone as brushing your teeth afterwards just destroys your teeth. She still had all her own teeth despite needing 50 customers a day to pay for her heroin and coke habit.

Last night it was frightening seeing a pair of brothers (Who I've known for 50 years but not seen in the last 20) who have let the booze do them in. Both of them are good candidates for brain damage or death..

Hopefully the latter rather than the former. I deal with a ward full of brain damage cases. Mostly on 2-3l of spirits a day till their brains gave up.

Pods are good. If not normally to my taste though the best flavour I've ever had from anything is an RTA with disposable coils..
I don't do RTAs or disposable coils.

Vapefly got it right.

Again.

Yay Vapefly!
