Quit Tobacco Cigarettes
Hi! I have a question today… Just answer and tell if it worked for you… Is there anyone who stopped using the tobacco cigarette completely after switching to electronic cigarette?  And did you continue using e-cigarettes or did you stop using all kinds of cigarettes?
Well, I recently turned to e-cigarettes. I used to be a heavy smoker. I guess I still am, as I occasionally smoke the tobacco cigarettes since I cannot control my urge for the nicotine rush. I started off with sweet flavored e juices. I still have the tendency to smoke. I get my stuff from (LINK Removed by staff) whose service is really good. I would recommend everyone to give it a try.
Anyways, It would be great if you guys could give some tips on how to stop using the tobacco cigarettes completely… Please share your experience... I’d love to hear and am ready to try…

RE: Quit Tobacco Cigarettes
When I started I used 24mg Nic, you don't say what nic % you use but try upping it.

RE: Quit Tobacco Cigarettes
Hi Dennis, I've been vaping nearly 2 years now - was a smoker for 35 years. Was only able to quit because of vaping after having tried just about anything and everything on the market for the last 25 years...pills, patch, hypnosis, acupuncture, cold turkey, gum and at one point even switched to smoking a pipe - nothing worked until i started vaping and have never looked back.

NO, no intention of giving up vaping (started on 6mg nic - currently on 1.5 to 3mg).

As for people who used vaping to give up tobacco and then gave up vaping - YES - I know several people who I gently nudged into vaping and they quit smoking and have subsequently stopped vaping as well. Each tell me know if they ever get the urge again, they'll vape vs ever picking up tobacco.

RE: Quit Tobacco Cigarettes
Smoked for 20 years, tried without success to quit a few times.  Started vaping - quit in 2 weeks.  Been vaping for almost 5 years now.

More impressive is that this has spread throughout my circle of friends.  Almost all of us were smokers.  Lmost none of us are now.  In fact...  I can't think of a single one that hasn't switched to vaping, including one guy that was a 4 pack a day chimney for 20 years.  All smoke free now, all avid vapers now.  One or two of us eventually quit vaping as well, but most of us have no intention of giving it up.

Also noteworthy - MASSIVE improvements in general health for everyone.  No negative side effects from vaping for anyone.  Hey NSA - wanna pass that on the to FDA goons?  Thanks!  Tongue

Remind one liberal per day, that laws affect only the law-abiding.

RE: Quit Tobacco Cigarettes
In the months I've been vaping I have went from 1.5-2 packs a day to about 6 cigs a day. The more I vape, the less I *want* to smoke!!

RE: Quit Tobacco Cigarettes
I went from over a pack a day to zero in one draw. I've been lucky. Hate even the thought of lighting up. Maybe if they tasted like banana pudding... Nah. I'll take vaping.

RE: Quit Tobacco Cigarettes
I started full time vaping a few months after quitting cigs cold turkey and having the occasional cigar. It has eliminated most of my cravings. The few cravings I still get have been fought off by remembering how nasty and not worth it it was the last time I slipped up and tried to have a cig.
I thought: "Why did I ever want to do that?"
Put it out after about 4 drags and couldn't get the nasty smell out of my nose.
I felt soiled from the inside.
I went to the bathroom and blew my nose and tried to wash it out with soap and water.
With that nasty smell in my nose, I could hardly believe I smoked for 27 years.

Edit: I will add that I didn't even get that swoon or headrush that I used to actually like if I was off cigs for a day and then had one.
But I did just come down to 4mg nic from 6 that I have been subohming at between 50 and 100 watts. Currently, I vape a custard juice that is 4mg nic at .222 ohms and 99.9 watts. Perfect.Sun_bespectacled
