Question
I got my hands on this mint, unregulated Hexohm https://imgur.com/gallery/XTZvE serial number #063. Beneath the serial number is the letter "M" rather than the typical V2...what do I have?

RE: Question
Welcome to TVF Jonesy17.

I went and checked mine and yes it in fact says v2.

My guess is that it's either a clone or better option is that it's the first edition and maybe M stood for "mech" - is it parallel or series?

RE: Question
It is in series, unregulated. Further research and forum posting has led me to the most viable answer Ive seen yet. I originally thought "mechanical,"  but its not.  It's just simply unregulated. At the end of the day, I believe the "M" stands for MOSFET which is the type of chip installed in the unit.

RE: Question
Just please make sure you're safe with it - it's not a beginner mod - I believe that mod was originally recommended for 0.6 ohms builds, don't build or use coils below 0.3 ohms.... it will fry the chip.

RE: Question
Thank you. Yes, it's no toy. I'm running Sony VTC5A batteries topped with a dual 26g kanthal, 8-wrap parallel checking in at 0.32 ohms in my Aria Phenotype-L Anarchist. Demands less than 20 amps. Perfect build for it in my opinion. Flavor is great and clouds are large. Thanks again for your reply.
