I'm telling you that once you see one in person or better yet have a chance to use one it will be a must have tool for even the most experienced builder. I'd like to think I had some influence for tinwhisker getting his.

What's the smallest core wire you can use with it?  I use up to 34g single, double and triple core wire.  Just from the design of it I don't believe it would work well with anything above 28g core.
The smallest I've done is 30g with 36g wrap single core. I don't see any reason you can't do any guage you'd want to.

Interesting, with the way the spool moves down the wire I would think the spool platform would cause the core wire to go all wacked due to how thin it is.
I've only done that once to see if I could. I really have no use for clapton wire that small. I did put it on a swivel to keep the core wire steady.

I'll have to check one out, I use a fair amount of 32g & 34g core wire, it's worth a look at the device. If it doesn't work out I can always Vape it forward Wink

Cheers

$35.99 for the complete kit. This is the best price I've found anywhere.

Cool, yeah I'm going to have to check em out. Fused are simple and easy but single core has a tendency to be a PiA.
