Pre built mod boxes
I am looking into buying a pre built mod box, so I can do some learning with it before I build my own. I am wanting a box that has the capability to be adjusted for power output and read the ohm of coils so I can mess around with building different coils and see what does best then build myself a mod box just to be doing it. I don't wanna spend a ton on a pre built box. Not wanting to go over 60 but going over it is not going to break me I just don't need the Cadillac or boxes when a basic does work truck type of box as long as it has the features I want and is dependable I would be happy.

The RX200 might be a good choice. It's a 3-cell, 200W device (250W with the software update, but please don't go that high with 3 cells). Variable wattage, also has temp control, well-made and only costs around $50 or so. It's not exactly a box, more like a triangle, but close enough.

As long as it does what I need it too I will be very happy with it. I will deffinetly look Into it and I appreciate the warning on not cranking it up.to high.

No problem. As a general rule, 18650s shouldn't be used for more than about 50W per cell. So a 3 cell mod should really only go up to about 150W. Of course, that's more than most people ever need so it's not usually a problem. The most important thing is knowing how to use Ohm's Law to make sure you're within the cells' amp limits.

RE: Pre built mod boxes
You mentioned not wanting big clouds in another thread.. this means high ohms and low power consumption. I'd advise somthing simple, one perhaps two batteries and built in charger. most of these will fit the bill. It's so hard to recommend a mod these days with so many on the market but have a quick search and come back with a short list, I'm sure we'll be able to point you to the best of them Good

RE: Pre built mod boxes
And I was going to recommend a few series mods ...
