PANZER BY MCV PHILIPPINES clone
Just arrived in the mail! - at 8:45 pm believe it or not (we get mail at all sorts of odd hours over here).

Bought it on eBay for a mere US $18.99 with FREE Economy Int'l Shipping.

Marvelous design, excellent machining, heavy, solid, well-made, with good threads and a nice feel to the fire button.

Wild man Rip Trippers has a highly appreciative review of the authentic mod (not the clone) in which you can see how the pieces fit together at:

If anyone is interested they can find pics and full details of the clone here:

It would seem that there are clones and clones and some of them can be pretty good.

RE: PANZER BY MCV PHILIPPINES clone
Hi All:

UPDATE: Well, I installed a battery, attached an Aspire Nautilus Mini atomizer, filled it with a Crown E-liquid called Island Rum which isn't really like rum at all (maybe the mixer was drunk), fired it up - and it vapes terrific! Works really well, or well enough to satisfy a newbie like me.

I've noted only two negative points:

1. Although a beautifully made and very handsome mod - it's HEAVY.

2. The fire button is awkwardly located in the base of the Panzer.

Apart from these two points, which may not bother others, at FastTech's price this little baby is a steal!

Cheers.

My only problem with the design is that it is hugely longer than it needs to be.

Which makes for weight. It should be possible to make it 2" shorter.

Hi Don:

I wonder if we're both looking at the same mod. The Panzer body itself, with the extension tube attached so that it will hold an 18650 cell, is only around 4 inches long. With the atomizer + drip tip attached it measures a little less than 7 inches.

With the extension tube removed so that it will hold an 18350 cell the body measures just 3.5 inches. And with the atomizer + drip tip attached it measures 6.25 inches.

So it doesn't seem overly long to me, but it's certainly heavy. Fully loaded it weighs 9.7 oz while my fully loaded Innokin i134, which is much larger, weighs 12.7 oz.
