One for the nerds! :-D
This is the best documentary I've seen in a long time!

Bit nerdy and deep for some, but I enjoyed it Tongue

Just watched(observed) it...interesting to say the least! If true, it would also be kind of a "unified theory", but since I observed it, it changed its mind in the past to reflect what I was expecting to observe. Wait, What?Huh

RE: One for the nerds! :-D
I can fairly easily wrap my head around the simulation hypothesis, it does make sense.. but I'm struggling to get to grips with how we seamlessly manage to interact with other realities/consciousness's (is that even a word?)

If a mole digs a hole in our garden.. the mole was unobserved by any consciousness except it's own (as it's underground.. maybe the worms and grubs are aware of it.. I dunno) and if the cat craps on top of the mole-hill (she does this a lot) while not being watched.. there's still a cat crap on the hill when I wake up. I didn't see her do it but it's there in my reality nonetheless Tongue

I don't know where I'm heading with this really.. perhaps it was just a way of complaining about the toilet habits of our cat Biggrin

Still works spas.. the cat didn't crap until you knew it did. Not quite sure where the mole fit in though Tongue
My issue is that the universe is expanding, meaning all the 'bits' will eventually be lightyears apart, what reality can they form then? They still exist though, making them random floating bits of information.. doesn't work with the idea, it needs to just close down like a programe to be one.

This is known as the heat death of the universe, eventually everything ends up as photons of ever increasing wavelength.
