I always do sweet spot builds, of course. Yeah I read that battery life was shorter too but I can't explain it. All I can do is enjoy it.

6 seconds at 200w, you have a teflon throat my friend.

Yeah, kinda hard to bounce back from a bullets overdose.... Smile

RE: OK, this whole TC thing... Quick question.
Well, it's 8 days on the wife's initial IM build, and it's still fresh. Dabbed a napkin on the coils and got no black, and the cotton is still clean and purty. She uses a set of cells every other day now too, so the astonishment is still strong.

I would probably be on the same initial build, but after I read peter-k's blurb "- don't use fancy coils, it is not needed with TC.", I decided to re-do the deck with dual 13-wrap 3mm single strand to see how it goes. It's still great. So I'm on a new build, the resistance of mine is now around .5, the wife's is still .18 (fewer wraps and twisted wire). It may be the anti-splashback ceramic cap helping, but I am getting no darkening of the cotton from residual vapor condensation and am back to chain-chugging like I used to with no ill effects. I understand TC doesn't work for everyone but for us, it has made vaping into what I always hoped it would be- a fun hobby, very low maintenance, long life between builds and wicks. Basically just filling the tank and swapping cells once in a while. Did I say I was gobsmacked?

So, what's the best SS wire for TC and VW? I went shopping and was lost, as usually.

Best, I don't know. All I've used is SS, which is all I have. Paul knows. He knows everything.

Wow, I knew it was easy to ring Paul's bell, but I'm surprised how quickly your fruit got bruised. Sorry big guy.

Listen to Gently, bibs. He know everything too.

Nothing worse than a basket of bruised fruit. In no time at all flies will be involved.

What gauge?
