RE: New vaper need advice
Fatboy I'm loving it set at 36w (slowly creeping my way up by .5w) but already looking for a higher watt upgrade (looking at the topbox mini with a 75w max)

MOST of us start with a pen type device, then upgrade, I went to a eLeaf mini, then upgraded to a eLeaf 100W aND thought I'd be done....that's how it starts..... I'm on vacation and between my princess and I, we have 5 mods with us. Tongue

RE: New vaper need advice
Yep, some of the folks here call it shinyitus; the desire to constantly get the next shiniest thing. I started with a Tesla Sidewinder II stick and while I have moved up a lot over the past year and a half, I kind of find myself gravitating back to the first mod I got after the stick, the Pioneer4u iPV4s. Awesome but no longer available. But that hasn't stopped me from getting a lot of new gear. Have a new atty on order as we speak, actually.

Aside from about $22, not much.....the extra 25W could make a difference with some attys but many people here tootle vape <50W. My princess uses numerous mods up to 220W and never goes past 35W......okay she accidentally was once vaping at 38 but complained it was too warm! Smile

Ultimately the choice is yours - Since you're asking, here is my take on it based on answering a few questions. If you're on a limited budget and/or are disciplined to not want to add more and more mods to the collection, I'd buy the 75W.

My philosophy and justification was that I spend on gear far less than I did on stinkies......so with each month, my cigs budget could be used for gear and supplies, the end game is still super positive as I have my investment in gear and money left over and all of the amazing benefits of being a non smoker. ..... since joining TVF I read of a few people, as well as folks I know who started vaping, who gave up (most temporarily) because of either mechanical failure or general loss of interest..... i was determined to never smoke again so like many people here, I have backup gear for my backup gear!

Sorry I went off the rails with my thoughts...... my final answer: yes go with the 75W Smile
