RE: New user here
The button actually works good. I was kind of worried that using the side of my pinky would not work, but does just fine.
The atty is the real star here though. Not that I got much to compare it to, but this thing rocks! There were reports of the air holes not lining up, but mine line up fine, and dont need to be drilled out. There were reports of the top cap not screwing on to the base all the way for dripper mode, but mine screwed on smooth as silk.
Need to get the materials to experiment with. The length of wire that came included with it was probably good for 6 coils, but I managed to get two out of it, and killed the first one lol

BTW, I use the Innokin U-Can v2 for juice storage on the go. The thing works great. Kind of surprised I havent seen it mentioned here. It is expensive, but it is indestructible and never once has either of them leaked. It is also great for filling the genesis atty, and dripping

RE: New user here
thanks yeah looks like definitely one to stick on the wishlist and the AIOS too I think. I've looked at the storage can a few times but have not real need for one personally but I can see them being very useful for work etc. It's good to know they're actually decent bits of kit. Smile

RE: New user here
I have burnt holes, broke necks off, and had leaky caps on my juice bottles in my pocket at work. Nothing like having 10ml of juice when you start work, and maybe 2ml an hour in and an improvised nicotine patch on your leg.
They are solid. I do not have a scale anymore, but using my budget hands, I would say it weighs more than my Atom/AIOS with an 18350 in it. Way over constructed, and I love it for that. The first one I bought on a whim because I had store credit and I only had to pay something like $2 for it. About a week after I got it, I needed a second.

I do wish thy came with different paint color choices for the logo. Would be nice to just be able to look at it and know what juice is in it

I keep looking at them. Maybe one day.  It's worth it for ease of filling gennies

Here you go pulsar. I highly doubt you'll break this.

Magnetic switch, 18350, 1 ohm coils (it works well at 1.4ohm single coil tbh), all flush, all stainless, lockable, 4 ish ml capacity. You can also get a kayfun nano kit but I don't know if it fits the clones, yet.

If I could guarantee a stainless tank would fut a taifun, I'd tell you to get that, the extra airflow takes it over the kayfun imo. The extra vapour production, albeit a placebo, makes a big difference, the taifun is 23mm though, whereas the kayfun looks made for the nemesis.

Toni's been out tonight so I've been fogging up the living room, its been pretty much all tanks tonight as I've not built a dripper to match my 20a cells yet.

Thats how the evening shaped up for me. Good chance to do some back to back comparisons.

I will say, the fogger on the vamo continues to impress.  The prometheus is just nuts. But the taifun, thats a 1.8ohm micro coil with 80/20 pg/vg juice in it, its well out fogging a 1ohm dyal coil kayfun with 50/50 pg/vg juice in it.
Flavour? Well tbh their all shit hot, clearly demonstrating my mix needs work but they all  taste good.

RE: New user here
So, I got my 32g and 28g kanthan, 3.5mm silica wick, and a bag of cotton balls. I have probably 2 dozen coils under my belt this weekend...

The one I am on now so far is a 0.6 ohm coil thats about 1/16" with cotton wick. It is about 3 wraps of 28g kanthal. I may try about the same setup with 32g kanthal and a few more wraps to get to 0.7-0.8 ohm tomorrow night

No matter what I tried, the silica wick sucked. Dont think I will be using it again anytime soon. But who knows, may end up needing it at some point for a build.

This week will get some 30g and some ribbon wire ordered up and give that a go.

I tried a few micro coils, but I need such little coils for the resistance I want that is seemed almost counterproductive.

I did also try a 2 ohm micro coil in a cheap tiny dripper I have on my prodigy v3. at 6 volts, it did not like the tiny hole in the side and the cotton. So I bored the hole out to 3/16, and it was a little better, but I should probably be up around 2.8-3 ohms on that

RE: New user here
LOL improvised nic patch. Good one.

Did that with a couple myself, also with a zippo a few times, I'll take the juice myself. Nothing like setting your scrotum on fire while you are a couple miles back in the woods. I also mistook my juice for my eye drops once. I hadn't moved that fast in years. I flushed my eye out for a good twenty minutes and it was still hurting like hell.

Note to self, don't keep your juice next to your eye drops in a dimly lit room.

Yeah. I had a flooded atty once, and shook it out. Drop landed right in my eye. Talk about instant pain and instant wondering if it will cause perminent damage
