RE: New user here
do you leave it in your pocket at work? I am sure with your job you find yourself crawling around and in some weird positions at times too. we arent allowed tobacco use at work, and I heard if your caught using an ecig, they will walk you to the gate (fired).
how long is that setup in 18350 mode? is th at the lite on it or a full sized?

RE: New user here
Welcome to the TVF family, Pulsar!  Great to have you among us here, too. Big Grin

Great price on the Ikarus clone!  I've only seen it in the low $30's at 101vape.  There are a ton of great, inexpensive mods out there.  The 69 mod I have is my favorite so far and is a true 1:1 clone.  My god, is it ever gorgeous and a real performer! Inexpensive too!  I can't wait to get my Poldiac 1:1 clone and try that out to see how it compares.

As for the 510 threads, as long as you can get your atty to sit flush on the mod you shouldn't have to worry about breaking anything.  The width of the mod compared to that narrow carto base on the Prodigy makes them super tough to damage as long as they are seated fully.

Let me know how you get on with the Ikarus.  I may have to get one even though it looks like a battery powered nose hair trimmer to me. Big Grin

the top cap on the prodigy is rather narrow, and has a juice well that makes it basically impossible to mount anything but a standard atty/carto. plus as you can see from the pic, it is designed to only allow it to partially screw in. Its served its purpose quite well in the 2.5+ years I have been using it

the length of just the prodigy with no atty/carto, is only 1-2mm shorter than the ikarus with no drip tip on it. so its quite long with the carto and drip tip. I was thinking of grinding off the lip for the juice well and getting a smaller rebuildable dripping atty, but not sure I will. 6v is just too much for rebuildables I think, and I dont want to buy any 17650s for it

I may be pretty biased towards the ikarus clone, since its the only genny/rebuildable I have tried and liked, but I think you will really like it Johnny

RE: New user here
Well, I ended up buying the SS Poldiac just now. It was a tough choice between that and the Foggatti. I hope Fasttech keeps the Foggatti for a while...

Next week should be able to order up the Kayfun lite from Fasttech. The Poldiac in 18350 mode, and the Kayfun lite should make a handy lil steam factory for me at work.

Now I just need to order up more IMR 18350s...

A little side note for anyone that as a ~65mm cell only charger. I took a stack of old copper pennies and took electrical tape to keep them stacked. Sometimes you need to wiggle the cell to get a connection, but it works.
Youd think after playing around with flashlights and ecigs for so long, I would have a decent charger by now... but I dont

Poldiac and kayfun should be a good combo,

To answer your previous question, I dont pocket any vapinh devices at work, as I work out of my van, thats where they stay, saves hassle. The picture there is 18650 mode. Here's an old shot of 18350 mode.

That's with an rsst on but its a similar size to the kayfun, the roller constantly suprises me with how small it feels,  and the sideswitch makes it imo, I find the nemesis in 18350 mode difficult to use, the private works well and is a solid mod for me

Seen here in 18350 mode with a trident dripper and here in 18650 mode with a prometheus genesis atty, or the throat and lung killer as I know it now....

It's nice and grippy, which would suit you to a t, but at 25mm od, you may not like the overall diameter.  For me it's perfect.

My nemesis has become the permanent home for my igo-w, it just works dammed well together

Seen here after a rare shiny shiny exercise. The nemesis is a good mod and would pair well with a kayfun, it also comes kick compatible if you find you want to go that route, maybe something to consider.

Like that roller and nemisis. looks good with the igo on it. Do you just turn the side switch like a dial to lock it?

Sucks that the most affordable way to get vape gear is off Fasttech. They have yet to live up to their name to me. It will February before I see the poldiac

Yeah, rotate the button 90º and its locked.

I've been staying away from fasttech, just far too many stories of hit and miss quality and poor service.

RE: New user here
So far I've not had any issues with quality or service with Fasttech.  Every mod I've ordered has been top-notch.  I've only had one sketchy item and I knew better when I ordered it but didn't listen to myself.  That was some time ago though.

As for service,  Back in October thru December they were really slow in ticket response due to all the HKP battery check shenanigans.  That shit slowed down deliveries and pissed a bunch of clueless people who blamed FT for it when it wasn't their fault at all.  It was the postal services causing all the trouble but people were blaming FT for the long delivery delays and were opening a flood of useless tickets that overwhelmed them.  Now things are back to normal and ticket response is better than ever.  Often times I get a response in less than 24 hours.  The last couple times I contacted them it was only an hour or two before I got a response.

I wouldn't be a huge fan of them if I didn't believe in them.

RE: New user here
I have had no problems with customer support, but they always take forever to ship my items, even if it is just 1 item and its marked as in stock.
I have had two issues with items I have ordered. The first was some replacement heads for a tank that I think was supposed to be 2.0 ohm, but all of them were over 3 ohm, and the second was an order I had covered in juice... but not of the 4 bottles of juice I ordered was leaking. Checked each one individually, washed them, dried them, squeezed and shook all around.
Both issues were taken care of in a positive manner. got 50% refunded for the wrong heads, and i think 30% refunded for the juice soaked order even though I told them I just wanted them to make sure that their employees knew the dangers of ejuice and how bad it can be if mishandled. I am guessing one of the packers put a damaged 100ml bottle in the package and noticed it was busted and swapped it out, because there was 30-50ml at least in the package
