Dripping juice down the chimney on a tank will cause the juice to leak out the bottom and down the mod, most likely. As Michael said, dripping and tanks are two entirely different animals.

And welcome!

Thank you, I was wondering why I was just hearing about it today.  Do you have any idea about the coils burning out so quickly?

Too thick juice will kill coils pretty quickly as the wicks can't keep up. Most remade coils can't handle 80% VG - that stuff is as thick as SAE90 engine oil and needs time to wick.

High VG level juices like that tend to have a tougher time wicking, unless whopper tanks like the TFV4 are used. I don't know your setup specifically but suspect the VG may be a problem.

It's strange because when I first put in the coil (brand new) it was hitting on 600F no problem.  And it quickly burned out.  So I replaced it and started hitting at 530F and the same thing happened.  I know the wicks are saturated because the first hour or so has some amazing puffs, but the last one I used didn't last a day before it burned.

eVic -VTC Mini, using the standard ego One tank.  I'm using a new Ni coil, I believe it's .2 ohm

Your juice is too thick for the coil to wick effectively, the juice you linked was made with dippers in mind Wink

50/50 to 70/30 max

Thank you guys!  My vape shop mentioned nothing about there being different thickness in oils.  He openly offered me the 80/20 and the Joytech Ni .2ohm coils.  I'll try a different oil tonight and report back.  Thanks for all the responses.

One more question. As I am a very huge fan of the Pink Lemonade (at least the first hour of it lol), will a different type of coil work better or is it the mod itself that I'm using?

It's more the type of device you're using. Most replaceable coils struggle with very thick juice. I really like very high VG juices as I like the "feel" of them in my throat and the clouds. But VG is hugely thicker than PG - which also carries flavour better.

Try some juice in a flavour you like which is 50% VG or less and you should find the coils last longer.

You really need to use a different type of atomiser to get the benefit from thick juices - basically it means dripping atomisers or a few rather specialised tanks to get the benefit from thick juices.

Thanks again!  I'll see if they have any fruity flavors in a 50/50 tonight.  I'll also look into a better atomizer, but as I said the place is always super busy and I doubt he'll give me much attention.

Great community btw, I may come here as a regular =)
