RE: New mod help
I've no experience with either but I'd probably go with the Smok out of those two. Hopefully someone here has one or the other and can give their thoughts.

Really, I'm only posting to say Welcome to TVF! Drinks

RE: New mod help
Just out of curiosity - what are you expecting to get out of an 80w TC mod that you can't get with the SubBox?  If you're gonna step up from the 50w SubBox, then get a 100+ watt mod.  Vaping in TC mode, the wattage isn't what matters, and the extra headroom with 100+ watts vs 80 (coming from 50) will be worth it.  Food for thought.

Remind one liberal per day, that laws affect only the law-abiding.

RE: New mod help
I think the important issue here is changing over to a TC mod. There are very good TC mods between 40 - 150 watts. If you just want TC a 60 watt TC device is more than enough. I get the new trends - everyone wants a DNA 200. Everyone wants those high powered devices. The new Sigelei 75w Plus is where I would go. A nice 26650 battery that should last all day on temp control. A solid device from a solid manufacturer.

RE: New mod help
To be honest I'm not sure how it all works I'm quite new to vaping just been advised that if I want a decent Tc mod then the smok is a good place to start but that's why I wrote on here to get some other information from people who use them rather than people
That sell them

Maybe you're into a big display. Check out the SMY TC60 mini. I love mine, I'm hooked on the big display.

An overview here:

https://www.misthub.com/blog/tutorial-gu...ol-vaping/

It's a cool idea that I haven't quite adapted to yet. I'm a pretty new vaper yet I still feel 'old school', using kanthal and regular power vaping rather than getting full on with the temp control. But it's nice to know my mods will be ready when I am.

I'm also looking forward to some new atty's that can do TC regardless of the metallurgy of the coil, rather than depending on the specific properties of nickel and titanium to achieve TC. I'd pay up for that, to keep my kanthal coils. Anyone know of any out yet?
