So in short summary the scentific comunity can make any claim they like and as long as ther is some remote inconclusive plausibility laws can be establised to inhibit or prohbit . Under such loose guidlines if i had an apropreate degree i could claimfarthing was depleting the ozone layer and make flatilence a criminal offence . It is absolutely absurd that unfounded boastary should have anny impact on legislation .

Strange thing is that methane is a potent greenhouse gas Smile

Cows are the largest producers of it. And yes cow farts do deplete the ozone layer.
