RE: Mutation X RDA
Haha yeah I've really jumped into it feet first. I got a Veritas today, on recommendation from RiP Tripper's YouTube video about his top 5 favorite drippers. lol I just built it exactly like he does in his review video, and he didn't lie, it's absolutely awesome. Great flavor, and somehow seems to magically let me take tons of hits with just a few drops. And when I say "tons of hits," I'm talking about 35+ hits without a single dry hit. It's magical.

RE: Mutation X RDA
Yeah it's a great little family shop. If I were you, I'd order the Mutation X asap if you're gonna get it, cuz I was talking to the guys in the shop and they're about to raise the price. They pay more for it from the supplier than their other RDAs, but they had them all at the same price to get people hooked on them. So yeah the price is gonna go up by $5 soon.

RE: Mutation X RDA
Michael, I picked up a lovely clone from Fasttech with the proper posts and hole sizing and it was only $10.34. Hell of a bargain!

Perfect huge holes in negative posts and even bigger hole for both coils in the center post.

One piece machined deck and negative posts and deep juice well.

RE: Mutation X RDA
That looks perfect Johnny! I love the center post hole being bigger than the others, makes it super easy to build. New favorite atty? I think yes. Wink

Giant post holes, insane airflow and a really deep well. I'm hoping to find a shop where I can buy one, because honestly I really just don't like buying things online. Have any of you guys tried this thing? Is it as awesome as it looks?

After watching that vid, I was thinking about if one was to rotate the cap to have the AF holes over the edge of the fin on the top cap, then apply some dycam blu, or another kind of removable marking, then use a file to shape the leading edge of that fin to cover the holes in their staggered configuration. Hearing him mention that made me think. I saw them and wanted one, but at the moment, everyone I know is sold out of them.

Onward.. through the Fog!

RE: Mutation X RDA
Yeah I was thinking about that as well, but I think the only way you could do it would be to cover three holes at a time, which would not be nearly as adjustable.
