Measuring with the syringe...
I feel silly for asking but this just doesn't seem clear cut to me.

From where the plunger is positioned how much would be in this syringe? I can't figure out if it is 2.4, 2, or about 1.7. Or none of the above?

I don't know if you can see the image or not. I couldn't figure out how to get it to post within the message without having an URL.

RE: Measuring with the syringe...
Welcome back Indigo. I don't mix with syringes anymore but I'm sure someone will come along shortly and provide the answer. Smile

2. Use the measure closest to the juice. The double plunger is for a better seal. The pointy part makes up for the extra volume of the needle.

2.0 ml Always from bottom sealing edge of plunger with all air expelled from syringe

To try and fail is one step closer to trying and succeeding

Yeah - the front edge of the plunger is where you measure from. So that's a nice 2ml in it.

RE: Measuring with the syringe...
I use a 1ml and 3ml syringe for my mixing and it works well for small mixes up to 15ml but for 30ml up it is a PITA.

RE: Measuring with the syringe...
Yay for me, that is how I have been measuring!  Thanks all!

LF, you are correct sir, it is a pita for bigger sizes. The place I got them at only had those though so I was limited. It works for now until I can get things shipped to me again!

I don't understand why we ever moved away from feet and inches - all this modern stuff is a puzzle.

RE: Measuring with the syringe...
I pour the amount needed, a bit more, and then draw it up in the syringe and pour any extra back in the bottle. Personally, I prefer to use my amazing measuring spoons. They have a nice pointed narrowed end. If I need a measure that fit a spoon, I use the syringe.

Everything is puzzling for you these days Eddie. When you wake up and forget where you are - well. You should write things on your arms to remember or get a tatoo gun and tattoo yourself every night with messages. Works for me.
